Its a Catalina icon but truthfully the drinks aren't great. Onion rings were good. It was pretty warm and stuffy. There are better places and drinks to be had waterfront for the same price. I'll give it a pass next time.

If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out while you’re visiting Avalon - this is your place! This restaurant/bar exudes a carefree, tiki hut type establishment. The music is loud but it creates such a fun vibe. The servers are joyful, it’s like they’re having a blast while working which makes it that more fun. It’s a smaller place so finding a seat can be a mission but if you can, I highly advise that you give this place a try. It’ll be worth it.

Terrible experience overall with the server Yadira. Horrible Server. The server, Yadira, didn’t know her menu. We were asking about the mock tail menu, and told us a drink was 4.50. However, when it came to paying the bill the price was double! So, we pointed attention to this with our server, she said at the beginning “I THINK it was 4.50”. She then didn’t take any accountability and refused for us to talk a manager. Didn’t check in with us when she did know the price but had no trouble charging at the very end. Checked in a total of 1 time at the very end of the meal. She also gave the excuse “that nothings free” when having to pay an extra $1 for a condiment. Since the beginning of the evening, it was clear she did not know the prices of the drinks (even though there are no prices listed so servers should be well aware). Maybe she’s new but also extremely defensive. She lacks empathy and any constructive criticism with her job. Whoever the manager/lead/owner is should re-train/fire her.

We got our wiki's whacked!!! Holy cow are the drinks strong with this one. We had a hard time getting in this place. Deceptively large, but the best spots are right by the front door where you can see the bay. We were walking by and just about to leave when the table out front gave us their table and a hat. We were hooked. Then, we proceeded to order drinks and we were sunk. Don't remember much more than a good time. Our fire-filled drinks kept the good times rolling. In other news, we didn't eat anything so the above stars are for the drinks. If you get the signature whicky whacker you get a hat. be careful I would recommend only if you like rum-based drinks.

Delicious swordfish tacos! And they gave us a free straw hat with one of their signature cocktails. Overall a fun experience!

This place is fun but kinda expensive but it is a tourist town. We got 3 drinks each my husband and I, and 2 appetizers and a large pizza and the total was about $130 which wasn't too bad. The food is good and the drinks were too but not strong enough.
