NDMK Fish House Reviews
Some of the best food I have ever had. Clam chowder was creamy and good. Da bomb shrimp had great flavor and was cooked perfect. My wife commented that the sea bass was some of the best fish she had ever had. Our server was very personable and welcoming. Talked a bit and shared his recommendations for each dish to make it the best possible. This play is way better for quality and price than many of the other options on the island!
I had their fish tacos with local, seasonal bluefin tuna. So good!! Highly recommend and I love that they have local fish available on their menu, not just imported seafood that some of the other restaurants around have.
Solid. Not solid for Catalina, like solid all the way around. Wife had fish tacos and said they were as good as anywhere in San Diego. I has sushi and it was really good.

NDMK Fish House offers a delightful dining experience in Avalon. Their fresh, expertly cooked seafood, including halibut, fish and chips, lobster, and shrimp burritos, along with vegan options like a vegan bowl and sushi roll, cater to diverse tastes. The restaurant boasts a cozy, colorful atmosphere and attentive service, making it a great choice for both seafood and vegan-friendly meals. Visitors often praise the freshness of the seafood, with dishes like halibut, lobster, and shrimp burritos being highly recommended. The poke bowl is also popular, with helpful staff able to veganize it by swapping rice for sushi rice and omitting crispy wontons. The restaurant provides great service and a welcoming environment, and is accommodating to dietary restrictions, offering gluten-free options and even Tamari instead of soy sauce. Despite occasional noise from nearby families, the overall experience remains positive, with many describing it as an unassuming yet amazing place for a satisfying meal. The staff, especially servers like James, are known for their friendly and fast service, adding to the enjoyable atmosphere. The casual environment, good music, and outstanding food make NDMK Fish House a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
