Service was horrible they kept purposely separating our family to not give us tables every time a table opened up. We asked them at least 10 x and they kept refusing. They weren't accommodating it was a family trip after years and they just were giving SO MUCH ATTITUDE. We heave up bc we were hungry but we should have def went somewhere else their food wasn't even good just basic and bland. Overall horrible experience views sucks as well. ! 0/5

For fellow tourists: there is another breakfast place 3min away called Jacks or Jake’s. I think that place is better
Food was very mid to low quality, i got an omelette with only egg whites and maple syrup tasted so fake and the corned beef hash was not okay. This is so weird.

Pretty bad experience, we ordered 2 dishes and waited 30 mins until we asked the server for our food. The server also gave us a receipt while we were eating for only 5 mins.
I love the food here! Chicken fried steak is so good. The food never misses. Great service.

We went to Pancake Cottage 2 times while on the island. Best breakfast in town. Jose, our server, was great with local knowledge of activities and restaurants on the island.

My Family and I was on a cruise stop in Avalon Ca.We ate a late breakfast at The Pancake Cottage.I don't eat pork..so unfortunately all there meats are cooked in the same oil..so I settled for pancakes and eggs.We all enjoyed our breakfast.Good portions. The crowd was light.Fast service

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Happy to see that they offered gluten free pancakes (though they were a touch burned).

Waffles and pancakes were good. If you plan to have a decent meal, I would recommend this place over others nearby.

06-23-25 10:30am On a Monday. Wait time 12mins. Got us seated early than estimated time. However took about 45mins to get our food. Sat outside, table wobbled. Nice ocean front view, nothing special about the food.
