“I heard about this place because they sell some local freeze-dried candy I was trying to hunt down and I keep coming back for the drinks, treats, and awesome staff! I appreciate how friendly everyone who works here is. My favorite drink so far is the strawberry shortcake flavor!“
“One of the best cold brew tea drink places across the US. Quality tasting tea and perfectly made boba. We got the white peach with cane sugar boba less sweet and a jasmine guava with mango jelly less sweet. I would definitely make a stop back here if I’m in the area again!?“

“How many times have you been to a small, but unique, dessert destination, that takes you to another place? How about another country and city? Walking in to Cafe Crepes in SLO, you are immediately transported to Paris, France. The eatery is a small space, serving basics, notably, both savory and dessert crepes. Then, paninis also (yes, Italiano too). I must say, I came here mainly to admire and photograph the inside decor (yes, homework). On that front, I must say it was extremely well appointed (see my pictures), excellent taste in murals, oozed romance, magnetic and nostalgic (reminded me of my trip to Paris, and the south of France, years ago). I had already had lunch elsewhere, so I ordered the Strawberry and chocolate chip crepe. It would have been nice if banana was part of the concoction. Anyway, it was good, and luckily, I had room for it, and a little bit more. So I headed to another location in the vicinity, for another sweet treat.“

“Top tier tea spot. Came for boba (which was great… bubbles more delicate than most spots), then came back for the shop. Then saw they have a crazy good loose leaf tea game. I asked for a mug, they served it in hand-thrown ceramic.Never mind the Madonna Inn, this is SLO’s must-visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Gentle ramp brings you in. I *think* it would accommodate a wheelchair.“
“This place is adorable and the drinks are delicious. It is very vibrantly decorated and a fun place to hang. I mostly default to the banana brûlée but I got the shortcake today and it is incredible. There was a live stream of kitten playing on one of the screens which I thought was absolutely delightful to watch while I waited. I’ve ordered them in door dash many times and the drinks are always correct and they have a special bag for them that keeps them upright.“

“A trip to Avila Beach is not complete without a visit to Big Al’s at the Beach. The flavors here are wonderful, my personal favorite is the root beer (which is a wonderful rendition of a root beer float). We like to take the short walk after a day at the beach before we get in the car and head home.Kid-friendliness: Just a perfect beach dessert for kiddos.“
