Food is authentic and in my opinion the best food close to home. Foods and drinks with probiotics. Flavors are clean and all homemade with the best ingredients. Tasty, tasty, tasty.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We walk in and the place is empty, we find two children sitting on one of the tables. We’re told to sit down, we wait for 10 minutes until finally a man comes to take our order. I was craving menudo, but was told it wasn’t ready yet. That should’ve been the first red flag. I ordered some red chilaquiles. As I’m about to take my first bite of the beans, I noticed this long black hair in the beans. I look for the owner to let him know, but he’s no where to be found. 5 minutes later, he comes from outside through the front door. I let him know and he tells me it’s odd because he’s bald. He then proceeds to ask me if he should just remove the beans from the plate or make me new ones? I say make me some new ones without any beans. I just wanted to tell him that I no longer wanted any food because I was grossed out. A couple minutes later he lets me know they’re ready. He didn’t make me new chilaquiles, he simply removed the beans because we didn’t hear any cooking. I should’ve walked out the minute he said the menudo wasn’t ready. I couldn’t help but noticed that the restaurant has a B as a score. All the tables were dirty, and our drinks took forever. If you don’t want to take the chance, I would go somewhere else.

I’m torn on this review because the food itself was actually really good—authentic Oaxaca flavors that hit the mark. However, the service and value were a major disappointment.
We waited over 35 minutes for our food to arrive, which felt excessive. When the plates finally did come out, they were incomplete; the menu stated they included rice and beans, but we were only served beans and a small piece of cheese.
To top it off, I ordered a simple side of one egg and ham for my son and was shocked to see a $10 charge for it on the bill. For that price and the missing components of our meal, the math just doesn't add up.
While the kitchen clearly knows how to cook, the service and pricing transparency are not there. Personally, I wouldn't come back, but to each their own.

Delicious food. Came in due to traffic and found this little gem. Tlayudas are massive and has generous servings of cheese with tomato and avocado 🥑

Ended ordering a Cafe de olla and a pan dulce.

Staff are very nice and attentive too
