I really like this place. And not just cause I moved into an apt across the street, lol...I haven't tried any of their lunch fare but they're breakfast burritos are always delicious! Make sure to say yes to salsa ( its not hot), and please take a minute to appreciate the delicious HOMEMADE TORTILLAS! The ladies are always friendly and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my food with it usually being closer to the 5 minute mark. Can someone please explain why a deli on 23rd and 24th is called the 34th Street deli?? 🤔

I arrived at 11:28 with no one in line so I stood there to get our order taken and i understood I had to wait but the gentle took his sweet time and by the time he decided to take our order he said they didn’t serve breakfast no longer even though he took 3/4 min to get our order and (mind you they don’t have a POS system they wright the orders down and make them and you turn your hand note to the cashier.) Then I asked awwww you can take our order since it’s a min past but you waited a couple min to get our order taken? And he just smiled, giggles and didn’t give me verbal answer. Horrible slow service do not recommend save your time and go else where. 🤦🏽♂️

Stopped by this location randomly. I ordered the recommended Monster burrito and a side of fries. Will definitely be coming back. The homemade tortillas are great, portions and prices are a good deal as well. Customer service was excellent.

I've lived in Bakersfield for a long time. I have been going to 34st grill for many years. The burgers have always been outstanding. I got two burgers today and they were horrible. I have to say, they were worse than any place I've ever gone. The food had a bad taste. I ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers. One had fries and the other didn't. I asked for dill pickles, didn't get them. It was the worst. I don't think I will ever go there again for food.
Asked if I could get a veggie deli sandwich and was told, they can't make one. It's 2025? Are you joking? It's literally just vegetables but alright.

I really wish I could give 100 stars. This place has the BEST breakfast burritos. My boyfriend brought me here when I first moved to Bakersfield and I've been addicted ever sense. As we speak, he's at the counter buying me a burrito. The women who make the burritos and salsa, whoever they are, they are doing gods work. I hope all those women win the lottery. I hope everyday is a good day for them. If you go in, get the burrito and watch them work their magic. Truly, so damn good. I love them.
