Ordered the club sandwich with fries and a drink about 9$ ....was not expecting to get a school lunch type of sandwich! Heard this place was pretty good I was expecting a diamond in the rough mom and pop place with delicious food. Very disappointed fries were hot and fresh but well over seasoned! Never again.....

One of the best burgers in town. Will beat in & out all day long and twice on Sunday. Made fresh to order. Brings back old memories of the 34th street car wash. Sad to see the original wash go away, but very thankful the burgers have survived. Yummy stuff every time. I suggest the bacon burger.

Had this place recommended as a hidden gem by a coworker. He said they were the best burgers he had tried in Bakersfield. Its inside the same buildong as the Sparkling Image carwash but doesn't feel like it. I got a bacon cheeseburger with everything and it was good, especially the bacon. We also tried the chicken strips but they were nothing special. Overall, good food for a good price.

This place does a great disservice to the 34th St Burger name. My burger here which I thought would be as good as the location downtown was not even close. The meat was overcooked, all the condiments were pushed to one side, there was one thin sad sliver for tomato and so much pickle juice it make the bun soggy. The beer battered jalapenos on the burger were soaked with oil; it was dripping from the wrapping paper. The french fries as well were dripping with oil. Likely because both things were cooked in oil that was cold. It might be the fact that the person who made my food was a new employee and a teenager but regardless it was a huge let down.

No one ever knows about this place when I tell them about it. They don't understand a burger place inside of a car wash haha but it's a hidden little gym. Their burgers are pretty good and so are the fries. I like that the parties are nice and thick. Be prepared to wait because they have 1 cook making all the food while taking orders. The dining area is pretty boring and bland but it doesn't change the fact that the food is good. I give it 4 stars because I wish they stayed open later.

Okay we were out running errands and wanted something different then our usual. So looking on Yelp we decided on 34th Street Deli. WOW great service and the food. My dad had a Carne Asada quesadilla stuffed with meat and cheese as big as his plate. Hubby had the bacon cheesedurger real thick slices(yes Whole slices) of bacon and what looked like a hand formed hamburger patty with fresh leaf lettuce tomatoes and sauce. I had the pastrami sandwich with mustard and pickles. The meat was tender and moist not soggy or greasy. Oh and i cant forget the wonderfully crispy and fluffy on the inside . Amazing.
After the 34th St Deli first moved to downtown we tried it and it was not nearly as good. This is the first time we have given their brand another try and I am certainly glad we did. This location on Wible at the Rainbow Car Wash serves the same great burgers as before. I thought we had lost one of the best burger spots in Bakersfield but we haven't. HAPPY HAPPY

Stopped in for a breakfast burrito and it was real good considering it is at a car wash. It took a little while to get to us as one lady was cashier/cook so don't go if you need something immediately.

I was so tempted not to write this review, but I still did because this 34th Street Burgers + Deli location is terrific. I was surprised that no one has written a review for this location yet. Makes me think that it may be a secret, and their fans do not want anyone to know about them. I've been missing the deli and the old 34th St. Carwash since they closed that location. I've been going to their downtown location on H St. in order to enjoy their delicious cheese burgers. I've been meaning to make it down to their Wible Rd. location ever since I heard they had a branch here too. Finally, I got the opportunity to drop by! It looks very unassuming from the outside. Inside, it does not look like much either. The location of the tables, chairs, and cooking area reminded me of the original location. There were probably less than a dozen tables available. One very nice woman behind the counter greeted us, and she was doing everything by herself while we were there. She was taking the orders, cooking, and serving! Considering that the place was pretty busy, she was very efficient. Only took about 10 minutes to receive our order! Faster than normal. As always, I ordered my favorite. A cheeseburger combo. The combo includes the cheeseburger, fries, and a soda. The cup they give you is smaller than the cup given at the downtown location, but there is no charge for refills so that's fine. I think the cheeseburger tastes just as awesome as the original location! Maybe even a bit better than the downtown branch. In my opinion, their cheeseburger is the bomb! The best "non-gourmet" cheeseburger on the planet. Each bite of the cheeseburger was super fantastic! The combination of the perfectly cooked patty, onions, tomato, lettuce, sweet pickles, and spread (looks similar to thousand island) makes for happiness in my mouth and in my tummy!! The fries were different than the ones served downtown, but were still quite good. I cannot tell you how anything else on the menu is because all I've had from the menu is the cheeseburger! I've never had dessert after eating at 34th St. Deli because there was never anything available. At this location, though, they have a little display of Smiths Bakery donuts!! A perfect ending to a fantastic & delicious meal!!
