Love this place!
Absolute staple in Bako for a classic bagel breakfast sandwich. Been coming here since the 90's. Highly recommend to all.

Simply the best bagel shop in town! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the almond cream cheese 🥯 is incredible! Just like Dewars 🍨 and Smith’s cookies 🍪 this is a Bakersfield staple. Highly recommend even after all of these years!

Absolutely 5 stars for the bagels and cream cheese. Honestly haven't tried anything else but we have been coming here for 30 years for the bagels and they are unmatched! Peanut Butter, Banana, and Lemon are delish.

Food is wonderful which is why this place is still open, customer service is awful, saw two girls making fun of a customer who simply asked where to order, no smile, no hello, just dry order taking. Wait time is excessive, waited 25 mins for two bagel sandwiches and the place wasn’t even busy at this time.

4/5 for the boss’s lunch. It was nothing special but it was something that you can have over and over again and would not disappoint. Cold brew was good too. Pretty packed in the morning.

A very busy place in the morning on weekends and you can see why. Fresh bagels and coffee. Efficient and fast paced service and yummy bagels. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor space is limited .

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with no onions. The guy taking my order asked for it three times. It was about a 20 minute wait in the dirty restaurant. We had to wipe the crumbs off our chairs before we say down. When I finally got the sandwich it was wrong. First and last time going there

Owner! If you are reading this, BRING BACK MY KIWI STRAWBERRY! ☹️ it’s the main reason I would go there to get a bagel for breakfast.
I tried the new one with Dragon Fruit, not as good, it tasted like a water down version because it’s kind of trying to replace it but is not as good.
