This is one of a few hidden gems in Bakersfield with excellent service, atmosphere, and quality of food. The dynamite roll is spectacular. The chef is very conscientious and you can tell a lot of craftsmanship and love went into each dish. Eating their alone is magical. The atmosphere is perfect for solo or duo diners who are looking to enjoy a quality meal. The service is impeccable and I felt well cared for.
We both got the Bento box and everything was so fresh, tasty and a good amount of food. We thought it was delicious. Easy a. Was off the 99 highway. A definite must try little neighborhood eatery.
My family loves this place, and for good reason! We typically get take out but this time, I dined in with my boyfriend and we went on a Tuesday night so it was um, pretty quiet. Service was attentive and food was fast and tasty. We each got a bento and had plenty to eat and take home as leftovers. Tempura here is unmatched: super light and crispy. Love the carrot, squash, and sweet potato especially.
