Authentic Thai restaurant with amazing customer service! The food is delicious and the staff are warm and attentive.
If you’re driving through Bakersfield like we were, you should stop!
This place is Incredible! Our server TK was absolutely amazing, kind, attentive and very fast. The food was delicious, and they even gave us an extra white rice that I very quickly scarfed down. If you want some Thai food in Bakersfield, as far as I’m concerned, this is the only option.

Very tasty food! Ordered
Yellow curry: has really good flavor. They use chicken breast so thank you for that.
Chicken Pad Thai: has really good flavor. Good amount of protein.
Definitely recommend this spot!

I’ve been coming to Blue Elephant for nearly 10 years, and they continue to impress every single time. It’s one of those rare restaurants where the flavors feel authentic, the service is consistent, and the food makes you want to come back again and again.
Their menu truly has something for everyone — from the classics like Pad Thai (always a hit with family and friends) to the plant-based standouts that keep me hooked. Their vegan orange chicken is hands down one of the best mock chicken dishes in town: crispy, tangy, and just as satisfying as the traditional version. And of course, no meal here is complete without their mango sticky rice, the perfect sweet finish.
Blue Elephant takes their craft seriously, and it shows. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or a meat lover, you’ll find dishes made with care and flavor that hits all the right notes. It’s become one of my go-to spots for sharing a meal that everyone enjoys.

DO NOT order delivery from here. Used to love this place. Was it a bit pricey? Yeah but the food and the portions were good. Now they have the audacity to charge the same amount for literally half the portion. Food still taste great, but I don’t want to pay $16 for a kids meal
Excellent service. They really went above and beyond. Food never disappoints
Great tasting food. I had the Beef Pad Thai, my two friends had the Chicken Pad Thai.
They also had Spring Rolls.
Service was through Uber and was good.
There was no ambiance because we ate at home.
The reason for the four stars instead of five is two fold.
First the prices are not reasonable. $90 for three meals and eight spring rolls.
While the food is very good, the serving sizes are not worth the price. $24 for 8 Spring Rolls is ridiculous. They were actually smaller than the egg Rolls you get at Panda Express.
Second, The Blue Elephant send our food in an open bag, and the containers of Spring Rolls were open. That is completely unacceptable. At no time, should a delivery person be able to have ready access to a person's food. If the bag is to small to seal, use two bags.
Overall the experience was good except for those two issues.
Will I eat the food there again? Yes. Will I order the food on Uber or Doordash? Absolutely not. Not because of Doordash or Uber messing up, but I do not want my food left open for any person to access.
I do recommended their food, but not through delivery.

Great Thai food! Had their signature fried rice and it was delicious. (Ask them to make it spicy!)

I do not recommend coming here. They have small portions of rice and they charge for it on the side. More egregiously, it is cold 3/4 of the bowls you get.
Their Tom Yum is minimal and salty, and tastes like vinegar. It truly does only include protein, white mushrooms, tomatoes, and chili for $17.
Their vegetarian eggplant came out piping...warm. Disappointingly lukewarm. But their portion was okay and the flavor was good. The star is for this. However, it came out much later than the other dishes we ordered.
We had to try 4 tiny bowls of rice for it to finally be hot. To ask for hot rice 4 times is surprising in a mid range or mildly expensive Thai restaurant.
My green chicken and eggplant curry with *plural* eggplants in the description was quite literal with two pieces of eggplant for the curry. My picture is after eating the first and sad about my fruitless search for at least a third. It was poorly incorporated in the curry.
We expected more for how much they were charging $17-19 per dish and were very disappointed. We used to come here pre Covid and during Covid and it went downhill since apparently.
