Should have know when I walked in & no one is there eating at 12 noon, there’s a problem. Ordered 1 item combination, taco beans & rice. The shell of the taco was inedible. Was cooked in old oil & you could taste it. Beans out of a can. Rice was ok. Won’t be going back!

If you are looking for something a bit more authentic that Taco Bell but not a sit-down restaurant the any of the Bobby Salazar's Taqueria will be your choice. I stopped at the one in Clovis for a late evening quick meal. The restaurant is located on the back side of a strip mall and not noticeable from the street. The atmosphere is that of a fast food restaurant. The food was prepared fresh and was tasty without being overly salty or spicy. Although the menu is somewhat limited, there are enough choices to match most tastes. The menu did not indicate any gluten free or vegan/vegetarian options.

Delicious choices for lunch and this was both fast and tasty. There are many "sauce" options that will please everyone.

Fancy Burrito is EXCELLENT!!!! It was crazy busy but service was fast and friendly. My kids love the bean and cheese burritos. Everyone should try this place. Huge burritos for the price.

My usual is the #2 combination, a carne asada burrito and rico taco with rice and beans. The cook/servers are friendly. The menu is short, about a dozen "specials". I haven't tried them all yet, but what I tried is good. Bobby Salazar's is located in "The Barn" Chevron convenience store. If you're not in the mood for Mexican food, there is also a Port A Subs on the next counter to the left.
