went on the 14th and was dissatisfied with the service from the main waitress, Olivia M. she seemed to be a bit uncaring with the way she handled our table, when I was looking at the menu I asked for a roll but misread one of the ingredients so I kindly asked for a different roll instead and the lady seemed to be upset because she couldn’t remove it on her thing for some reason? I don’t really understand why she the system worked like that but being rude to the customer for something like that just didn’t seem right. in the very beginning we also asked for teeter chopsticks for one and the lady acknowledged the request and didn’t end up bringing it out. we had to ask a separate service member for them and she brought it out immediately. our table also ended up getting cluttered at some point (clearly trash and empty plates and bowls) and another service member took our things for us after noticing we were trying our best to put it as far away as possible because our waitress just walked by and didn’t seem to care. we also asked for two sides of extra sauce for our rolls in the beginning, which she acknowledged, and never even got them, so we asked again and still never received them. after we got the bill I noticed she charged me for the two sides of sauce that she never even brought out so I had to request for it to be taken off by someone else. if I could’ve I would’ve tipped the two waitresses instead of her but I ended up not tipping anything because I didn’t know if tips were shared and didn’t want anything to be given to the uncaring waitress. food was great but I feel this lady was like this with more than just my table that day so hopefully she didn’t ruin someone’s Valentine’s Day.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Bakersfield, I would come here every weekend with my family. I love sushi but the quality here just isn’t the same as it used to be. I’d rather go to sushi restaurants downtown these days. Not to mention horrible hosts and boring servers with no hospitality or customer service skills. There’s also a credit card fee now? & I saw there were holiday fees? This restaurant has no respect or gratitude for their customers. Won’t be coming back for a while or at all.

It's an amazing fusion take on sushi, the chefs were awesome, the gentleman that sat next to me, suggested just telling him what I like and they'd come up with something. I mentioned I love sushimi shrimp and scallops. The dish below is what I received and it was amazing. They also gave me an off menu beef item that I'll be coming back for. All in all a great place to try a new take on a classic.

The sushi here is truly a highlight. i ordered the May y tierra, Tiger roll and both were outstanding. The rolls were perfectly constructed—no loose fillings—and the fish was incredibly fresh. my bartender Daniel was a huge part of the excellent experience, taking my order quickly and making sure everything was to my liking. The presentation was also exceptional, turning each dish into a work of art.

Service was disappointing when I visited on a Monday evening. There was plenty of waiting staff and few tables but it took over 20 minutes to get the waiter over to even offer water/drinks.

my boyfriend brought me here one night for dinner and it has become our favorite! we love the sushi, appetizers, and drinks. the place it’s self is nice does become very crowded with others on a busy night but over all a great place!

Everything is more or less what I didn't like is that we are 2 adults and 4 children who are my family and they charged me $68 tip and they never notify you and it's really ridiculous. Even if you consume their product they charge you more for serving you. I will not return.
