Small deli with good selection of menu items. Sandwich prices average $10 each for good size sandwich. My husband got a hot pastrami sandwich which he said was very good. I got a Spicy Chicken Chipotle sandwich which was awesome. Will definitely return.

One Irreverent
Went in and unfortunately had the rudest young woman take the order, then roll her eyes at a five dollar tip on a two sandwich order. She made even my teenage daughter uncomfortable! The BLT was all warm/room temperature, including the mayonnaise, and my daughter's food was just as bad. Never going back to a place that makes you feel like you, the client, is a burden to make a simple sandwich! Afterward, we heard from very reliable friends of ours that the owner had been caught stealing credit card tips from some of their workers a couple of years ago. I looked it up, and it is true!

Still as good as it was 45 years ago on Niles Street... A Bakersfield classic needing no changes. When the owner's kids are the owners, we all get to enjoy the (Caesar's) traditions. The Caesars Special is still a favorite.

The best sandwich in town! I get the the Caesar on sourdough bread with a side of broccoli salad. Everything I have tried has been above 5 stars. Just walking into the deli gives you the most wonderful scent of comfort. I hope you will give them a try. You won't be sorry.
