Captain Crawfish Cajun Seafood Bakersfield

I walked in to order takeout and immediately I was surprised by the price! I come from Whittier CA and a 2lb bag would have cost WAY more! I believe I paid $42!! Which was insane! The flavor was delicious and the SPICE was spicing! They're medium was very spicy, enough to enjoy but if you can't take spicy food I would just go with no spice or mild. However the sausy wasnt my complete favorite, it lacked something I just really could put my finger on it. Ultimately coming from a city where I ate a lot of this and having this here in Bakersfield, was definitely a gem to find!

I was given a wrong order and was not compensated with the right order when it was brought to the attention of the servicer.

Food was not good at all . I ordered the chicken gumbo literally had one piece of chicken in there. Waitress was weird

I was so excited to see a crawfish place in Bakersfield. Which of course was a little hesitant. But I can 100% say it was so good!
Not only was the food phenomenal, our service was even better. The girl taking our order(I didn’t get her name) was so sweet and helpful. Working her butt off! A little rockstar at her job! Will definitely be back!

Very strange. We came in for a seafood boil and the host in the front with glasses was very non receptive when we came in. Took our order and when she delivered the food only brought one cracker for two people to use on a seafood boil. Asked if we wanted more butter and said yes. Never came. Then as we walked out she yells from the counter for me to make sure I throw my bottled water which I purchased with my meal in the trash can on my way out... it's not a beer bottle it's a Aquafina. I have never in life been told by someone at a fast-food or regular restaurant to make sure I throw my bottled water out as I leave the establishment.. Speechless.

The owners are friendly and the food is great

Here two girl working at evening shift.. she misbehave with me .. I came here 6 o’clock.. after I wait for my food 45 minters..
They don’t know how to talk…both girl sitting in the corner and both busy with their phone..
I don’t know why customer came here..

Went in for the first time to try it out. Gave them $100 bill to pay and they couldn’t take it because it was old never heard that in my life unfortunately we didn’t have another form of paying. Very inconvenient even after the cashier used a light to check it and a marker which cleared but old not accept because it was old and they received a fake one in past.

I’m sensitive on where i can eat fish, this place made it good. The customer service is great. The indoor atmosphere is good wish a choice of centre table, window view or a booth.

Posted hours say it closes at 8:00 pm on Sunday. We got there at 7:20 pm and the lady up front refused to serve us for dining in. She said only take out.

Very unprofessional business practice. I have been a very loyal customer for many years until now. I will definitely bring my business elsewhere. There are plenty of choices in town.

The crab, sausage, potato, and shrimp were all delicious. Corn was a little bit overcooked and mushy. The poor lady at the counter was taking orders and bussing tables all by herself. The owners should really hire more people to help. She did a fantastic job for doing 2 jobs at the same time though.
