I moved to Bakersfield in 2024 from L.A. and I’m telling you, so far, this location has serve me the best tasting chicken out of all the El Pollo Locos I’ve been too. This location’s chicken is so well seasoned. I only get chicken and salsa because I’m on a keto diet. I also go through the drive-thru, so I could not rate this location’s atmosphere. I have been here at least 20 times and the chicken has been consistently good. Thank you 😊

It has been a few years since I've gone to El Pollo Loco. I am on a journey to eat better, and I thought this would be a better fast food choice.I ordered the double chicken tostada for my mom and the chicken meal for my friends and I. It was as delicious as I remembered it, and I couldn't believe I'd had gone this long without eating it.My mom gobbled up the tostada, so that was a good sign. ?I had a leg and a wing. Haven't been to an El Pollo Loco in a long time.I was really looking forward to the flavorful chicken but it just wasn't very good.Staff was very nice.Edit. I think my view was more on the value side. Perhaps I was a bit unfair as the prices in California are higher than I'm used to paying.
