El Pollo Loco

Experience is always hampered here at All the El Pollo Locos in Bakersfield due to freezing temperatures in the dining room. When asked we were told the owner likes it that way

Ordered through the kiosk and the rice was mushy must have been old. I didnt receive any of my condiments and girl upfront was very rushed and in a bad mood. Wouldn't recommend this location.

Usually pollo loco is crowded and the restaurants are not at their best. This one in Bakersfield was a delight. It was clean and the cashier was great.

Food is always good but the quality of service tonight was incredibly sloppy and disrespectful. Got my food and after repeating what I wanted several times, items had to be asked about and the lady at the drive thru, didn’t properly put the lid on my drink and it spilled on my arm and inside my car. Saying sorry but never asked to refill it. I was over it. Please get it together. Not cool

This post is an update to a prior post which was less than par. I have been contacted by the management team of EL Pollo Loco,
The manager , Jacklyn was apologetic for my dining experience and wanted to assure me that my concerns were addressed.
She also informed me that worn damaged upholstered seats, I observed would be
repaired . I am updating the rating to a 5 for service based upon the manager’s efforts to make things right. Based upon Jacquelin’s( Stockdale manager) conscientious efforts to make things right, I am giving a 5 star rating for conscientious service .
I will be returning to do a review of the El Pollo Loco to do a review of their Mexican grilled chicken, which they are famous for.
Thank you Jacquelin( manager) for hearing my concern.
I look forward to having a positive dining experience at El Pollo Loco.

The avocado double chicken salad was amazing. The chicken tostada salad was amazing, this place is hopping around lunch time. Everything is computerized cash computer order to the left get it or credit computerized order to the right. Service fast and efficient

They brought the crunchy chicken tacos back so I'm good as gold lol... Now if they could just bring back those cheesy chicken tortilla rolls.

Everything was great I'm just really sick and tired of not being able to order at the counter, not everyone knows how to use their automated menu especially the older crowd I had to help an older man just to order a burrito it was ridiculous

One of my favorite places ..never disappointed

Maybe plastic gloves should be explained to the staff. They aren’t to keep the employees hands clean, they are to protect the customers food from contamination. While visiting 6/3, 7:15 PM, I witnessed 2 employees with gloved hands, touch EVERYTHING in sight to include the phone, the access door, the kitchen counters and proceed to continue to create the food orders either the same gloves on. One chicken order was completed by touching each piece with same gloved hands described above. Another order, chicken burrito was made with gloved hands that touched every thing then placed on top of the chicken pieces to smash ingredients into the tortilla. Maybe the health department needs to make a visit ……
