Maybe plastic gloves should be explained to the staff. They aren’t to keep the employees hands clean, they are to protect the customers food from contamination. While visiting 6/3, 7:15 PM, I witnessed 2 employees with gloved hands, touch EVERYTHING in sight to include the phone, the access door, the kitchen counters and proceed to continue to create the food orders either the same gloves on. One chicken order was completed by touching each piece with same gloved hands described...
June 2025
Order online for pickup dinner on my way to work. Went inside to get and was ignored by staff. I asked one of the employees about my order to be told to hold on someone will be with me. 5 min later a lady came from the bathroom she helped someone else. I said I'm here to get my order that was ready. The guy who said someone would be with me gave it to me. El pollo loco in Bakersfield CA on Stockdale hwy staff are very rude and have no people skills.

I wanna say i went to el pollo loco saturday and the most amazing and sweetest manager i have ever met helped me out her name is claudia. I needed and wanted extra salsa and she was more than happy go help me out. When i walked in her and her crew were there to greet me and everyone as they walk in by always saying ‘welcome’ by far this is my favorite restaurant to go to out of all the pollo locos in bakersfield. Thank you to claudia and her crew for always being really nice...
