“8/10 did the job, I was craving for some Mexican food since I was in the area , I would like to point out I’m from San Diego and very close to the border with Tijuana so maybe my taco standards are very high but other than that I like them , if they could change the tortilla to a different brand or something I’m pretty sure they’ll be much better, but what really made this a very pleasant experience was how nice the people working there were , really makes you feel welcome.“

“This is our favorite stop while heading to the coast. You can find this gem on old river road. We ordered the Carne asada burrito. It comes with rice and beans, cheese and salsa. Miled or hot. It is big enough that we get it cut in half and share.Have not been disappointed.“

“They are the sweetest people. Be aware it is cash only. I was not aware and had my debit card, I did not have enough cash on me for my order. He offered me to come back tomorrow to pay him. I told him I had some cash but I was 4 dollars short. The food was already made and he was sweet and said no worries that it was fine. How sweet of him. I believe he was the owner. The food was delicious and made to order. I had called it in and when I picked it up it was ready and still hot when I got home. 10/10 Definitely recommend. “We found this place by chance, as the restaurant we were heading to is permanently closed. We told the person who served us what he recommended, they have lamb and beef birria, he very kindly told us let me give you a try first and you can choose. He served us a lamb taco and another beef taco, both of which were very delicious. We decided on the lamb, it was delicious. They served us a lot of handmade tortillas and a lot of meat, it was a very good experience. Thank you very much, we recommend it to family and friends☺️“

“Came here today for the first time. I was debating between chicken or ribs. The cashier/owner was friendly and helpful explaining menu items. I bought two whole chicken family meals with all the sides. Chicken and salsa were on point. The owner ended up giving me two free large ribs for my wife and I to try, oh man, meat fell off the bone. We will definitely be back!“

“The fries are super crispy inside & out. They're very generous w/ toppings & sauces, it lowkey overshadows the patty. If you wanna taste the meat I'd get the double.

They also give you a pager so you can walk around to the other food trucks.“

“I absolutely love visiting this place! Whenever I eat here, I always indulge in their delicious Mango Lassi and Kheer. I’ve been several times, and each visit feels like coming home. The staff treats me like a family member, making every experience even more special.

I’ve never had a complaint about the food, pricing, or service. Today, I enjoyed Paratha, Mango Lassi, and Kheer, all for a total of $18—$8 for the Paratha, $6 for the Kheer, and $4 for the Mango Lassi.

They truly create a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of background or race. As a Mexican, I feel right at home here! I always enjoy the food and the warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I’m not going to lie, first impression was a small trailer with a table to eat right in a gas station parking lot but All that fades away once you begin eating. They are not skimpy but generous to a fault in my opinion than most restaurants will offer and topped with ripe avocado slices! We were served both tostada style tortillas and saltine crackers and napkins and soup size spoons. The 32 oz tall cup was rimmed with Michelada Sal con Chile! PERFECTION in a cup. The proprietors are clean cut, nice uniforms and very accommodating and friendly and bilingual. We will return because there was nothing preventing us from becoming repeat loyal customers. The menu is extensive too! Bravo! Enthusiastic thumbs up! Well done! The 32 oz was large enough for 2 people to be satisfied (on this occasion). Try them once I guarantee you will be satisfied too“

“This may have just became my favorite taco spot!! Met with smiles at the window, I had questions beyond my Spanish capabilities and the lovely woman’s english, yet the cook/owner/ man behind the counter was so descriptive and patient. Tuesday had tacos for a Buck!! So I ordered some carne asada and el pastor. I also needed to try the rice and beans, they tell a lot about a business. We added two canned Pepsis and for under $15 fed both of us well. The asada tacos were perfection!! Melt in your mouth perfection, the produce was fresh, the salsa was dynamite, and I could have put down a dozen. El Pastor was delicious only dimmed by the excellence of the asada. Then the tell all… the rice and beans l… they were done by a perfectionist taught by a grandmother, or Abuela in this case. Whole pinto “pot” beans were seasoned to perfection and the rice was what I’ve been searching for since my favorite restaurant closed a few years back. If you haven’t tried this truck, Do It! After hearing the love coming from the cook as he described what things were, I’m coming back, going back, may never leave. There’s so much more I need to experience. I’ll keep you posted. From their delicious, flavorful, mouth watering and award-winning carna asada tacos, to their seafood/aquachillies food; you'll come back every day begging for more! My family and I fly out to Bakersfield 3 times a year to visit family. When we fly in, we visit this taco truck every day, 5-7 straight days in a row to partake of this beautiful and tactfully prepared food truck. Sometimes we go here twice in one day (not kidding, good is that AMAZING). Food: Mouth-watering, juicy, and lots of flavor that has your mouth, tongue, mind, and stomach craving more! Service: The people that prepare the food are super nice, clean, and have high standards for the food they cook and serve. Atmosphere: Getto surrounding. They have benches with covered eating area. If it's cold outside, there are no heat lamps at all. Don't come here for an eloquent night out; come here for the incredible and delicious food! If I lived in Bakersfield, I'd go here 7 days a week. UPDATE: I fly out from Arizona to Bakersfield just for a day to eat lunch at this place (yes, either I'm crazy OR this is the GREATEST mexican taco food truck in the universe). I'm a big mexican taco truck lover, but this taco truck takes the win for the most flavorful mexican food ever! Food & FLAVOUR: Heart stopping, mouth watering, and tons of flavor that make you beg for more food. They must put drugs in their food because I'm addicted! Try their carna asada tacos and make sure to also try their aquachillies plate! Location: This taco truck is on the corner of Mt Vernon and Brundage. Be careful though, there's 2 taco trucks on this corner. Price: Comes out to $1.00 per carna asada taco. It's $5 for a plate of 4 carna asada tacos and rice and beans (great deal). By far one of the best things I've eaten in Bakersfield. The depth of flavor is incredible and and had some good heat (spice) spread out in the fries.
