I eat here often. Two or three times a week. I usually have the same thing: The two burgers for $7.99, and a cup of soft serve ice cream. A regular is $2.99 but I often opt for the medium size cup which costs a little more. A friend of mine usually gets his dinner there and he chooses the two burritos and two corn dogs for $7.99. And the $2.99 ice cream cup. This place has been here forever in one guise or another. Strictly outdoor dining, no drive through, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They have an extensive menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, shakes, splits, sundaes, and the french fries are big bags. Shop the specials for your burgers and the prices are competitive. If you're hungry and close by check it out!

It's right next to Kern Medical center so it's easy to go get some non-hospital food over here.

Been going tonthis place since 2004 when it was called Big-O-Burger/vitas, went to the high school across the street and still go there , unfortunately its gotten a little on the dirty side and seems like they have an extremely large menu so u can almost guarantee that nothing is freshly made and mostly frozen, with all that said i always and only order fries and a large cherry Dr.Pepper and the fries tend to be extra delicious.

One of the cashiers let me go by 30 cents when I didn't have enough, great service, though might be slow

I waited about 45 minutes for a cheeseburger and a grilled chicken salad. The chicken salad smell good, taste good and it looks great the cheeseburger was a waste of money.

My second trip to Bakersfield and I made a fast stop at Frosty Queen Express. Staff was very friendly. I ordered Fish and Chips. Fish tasted great. French fries were well cooked. I had a root beer float which satisfied my thirst before heading back to LA. Great experience.
