The Fat Panda, also known as Panda Gordo, is an underrated gem serving fresh seafood and Mexican cuisine. Large fresh servings include top favorites like the Ceviche Mixto, Tostada Desarmo, Panda Tuna, and aguachiles. The aguachiles sauce is amazing, and the michelada VASO is off the hook. They also offer delicious lemonade and horchata. The food is always delicious, with cooked shrimp and octopus on a tostada being very fresh. The perfect bite consists of mayonnaise on a tostada topped with a choice from the menu and a bit of the black sauce. The area is clean with good seating that has cover, and the workers are inviting, friendly, and provide fast service. Though located in Bakersfield, the food is the best in CA. Customers recommend bringing family and asking for extra tostadas.
