Although we went when they first opened, it got busy quick. No surprise!The building, the decor is beautiful! I loved the open floor plan! I loved the bar with the Vespa, made me think of Luca!Our portions of the fettuccine were less than I remember from the last time we went but their flavor was on point today. The appetizers and our meals were delicious! And a soda came with our meals. I can't wait to go again but during dinner and dress up!

I met some friends for lunch and we felt comfortable to stay for a couple of hours to catch up. The food is always very good. Portions were large and we all took leftovers home to enjoy later.

I am shocked there are few really great Italian eateries in Bakersfield, but Frugatti's is one that I would miss if I left here!The food is delicious, and I've only had an issue one time where I ordered the Gluten-free Rotini and there was barely any meat/sauce on it. That was one off time out of 10. I also could have asked for some when I noticed but didn't make a fuss. Every other time was delicious. It feels good. It's not generic, and they have great service. The new location is literally beautiful and feels so nice. Awesome place to do anything from a family dinner, to a work lunch. Date night, or even fancier.

It is a rare thing to find a delicious gluten-free, dairy-free option when dining out. But today I had a personal size, gluten-free pizza crust with marinara sauce, Canadien bacon, mushrooms, and green peppers. The crust was fantastic! It didn't taste different like most gluten-free crusts do. It was the perfect consistency, and so satisfying! I highly recommend!!!!!Dietary restrictions: Their gluten-free pizza crust is excellent!

The food is so delicious and the portions are quite ample-so much so that, we wind up taking food home for another meal!Our servers are always friendly and professional! They take great care of us whenever we come in!I recommend their olive oil and have purchase some from them several times! Whenever we empty our bottles, we can buy a refill when return to the restaurant!Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair and Frugatti’s makes it easy to find accommodations at their restaurant.

Elliot was our server. He was phenomenal. I have a food allergy and he worked with me to ensure I would have a safe meal. Great staff and we were seated right away. We can for dinner and it was an enjoyable evening.

The new location has really put a damper on this place. The service, and quality at the older location was top notch. Now it's too big, too many people, and the quality has gone down. My family of 5 people were here for 3 hrs on Friday. 1 hr to be seated and 1hr to get our food and another hour to check out. When smaller local places sell out like this typically this is what happens.

Unfortunately when I visited there was a 45 minute wait. (Arrived at 5:30 pm on a Saturday). I was a single diner and was encouraged to use the bar if a stool became available. After about 35 minutes decided the bar was it. Met two wonderful couples. My chicken piccata and my salad were delicious along with a warm bread. I offered the table I would be getter to one of the couples who were also waiting but after me. When my name was called after an hour and 15 minutes, I told the hostess to give my table to the couple with me. She said she didn’t think she could but would check. She never came back. The table was reserved for me and I chose to give it to someone else. I told them I would walk back with them and then leave after they seated me but the hostess said I couldn’t. Really….it was reserved for me and I waited patiently so why can’t I decide to give it to a lovely couple who I met and were also waiting? That is my only complaint.
