Cornerstone Bakery

Prepaid for a cake that I had taken in a picture of and it didn't look anything like the picture I gave them. The cake was to be decorated as a naked cake and it was so thick with frosting and leaning when I picked it up. I was transporting it to Lake Isabella from Bakersfield and given a flimsy box that didn't even cover half the cake. I had no choice but to take it since my daughter in law's baby shower was the next day. The girl who gave me the cake i showed her the picture and said does this even look close to the picture? She just stood there with a blank stare ugh...thank goodness we have a friend in Lake Isabella who is a cake decorator at our Vons fixed it up and made our day complete with a beautiful cake. Thank you Katie at Vons you saved the day. Maybe next time when someone comes from out of town thinking they are getting a fabulous cake and can follow the directions, know i will not make that mistake with Cornerstone Bakery. Think twice when going off reviews double check and don't settle.

I walk in to buy a goodie after a haircut. I discovered the brown butter blondie. ( probably got the name wrong, but they always know what I want! )

We used this bakery to cater desserts for a fundraiser of 450 people. The owner worked with us very well to meet our needs, timing, and they turned out amazing. We will definitely be using Cornerstone Bakery in the future.

Best Cupcakes I’ve had in a very long time. They were fresh and delicious. The owner and staff were very sweet and friendly too. You get good quality with reasonable prices. Recommend this bakery shop to everyone!!!

I ordered a gender reveal cake and the shop only had a 2 days turnaround, but did a FANTASTIC job! Jennifer is the sweetest person to talk to and easy to communicate with via email or phone. She asked for inspo pics since I was completely lost as it’s our first child. They did a wonderful job and the cake was DELICIOUS on top of how cute it was! Would love to use this bakery again whenever I’m in town. I’m posting the cake with the inspo pic. I did ask for adjustments on mine

I ordered a smash cake and cupcakes for my baby’s first birthday, I absolutely loved how they came out they were soooo cute and everyone raved about how yummy the cupcakes were. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
