The authentic Mexican cuisine is impeccable. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. I saw something on the menu that caught my eye and my server recommend something better! It was wonderful and perfectly spicy. The chips were warm when served and the salsa was good. The atmosphere was on point and I got a great serving size for the price. I'll definitely be coming back.

The food was good but the server was not. He needs customer service classes. My husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant and we were seated next to the door. He didn’t greet us nor did he offer us the drinks menu. He brought out our food but never came to check on us and we did need refills that I had to ask the bartender to make. I always give tips according to the service we receive and this was the first time I left under $50. We won’t be going back.

Tried Iguana's for the first time tonight and the food , service and dessert was all incredibly amazing. Had a Mango Margarita , Steak Fajitas and deep fried cheesecake that was to die for . Highly recommend as there was four of us and each had a different dish and everyone enjoyed their meal. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond to make our dining experience fantastic.

Oh my gosh. What a surprise. We just discovered this gem. Bakersfield has a hundred Mexican restaurants, and we have tried just about all of them. This one is hidden in the corner of White Lane and Ashe Rd so we never knew it was there. A friend referred us. We was pleasantly surprised to discover this is the best Mexican food in town. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. Authentic Mexican Food.

I ordered the Iguana Enchiladas. Inside it had cauliflower, carrots, broccoli, and mushrooms. It usually comes with white rice and pot beans but they kindly swapped them for Spanish rice and refried beans. All of it was delicious. It was only $10.95 for my plate (during lunch times), and the portions were huge! My Husband ordered the Burrito Chile Verde and said it was great. The service was awesome. Our waiter was friendly and checked on us. There was another person (who may have been the manager) who checked on us twice, and brought us our check. He recommended a lot of desserts (fried ice cream, crepes, etc), however, we were so full, we had to decline. The ambiance was pretty peaceful. The way it is decorated reminds me of a cute little museum. We will return.

We stopped here to blow time while we waited for my husband's truck to get a bed cover installed. We ended up at iguanas and had what turned out being the best Cadillac margarita I have ever had. The price was fair and the person who tended us was very nice.
