I had gone for an early anniversary lunch. I got the fried udon and my husband got the eel bento box and a California roll.My udon was OK, tasted good but not much for the price we paid. The eel bento box was garbage. The only decent thing was the eel. The rest was like dry microwave food. The portions were painfully small and there were 3 crusty, dry, microwaved gyoza. The California roll was even better. It should be called the oildale roll. It was literally a 2 inch long, plain rice roll with a thin strip of imitation crab. Not even exaggerating. Wish I was joking about all this. I don't like to be the one to leave a bad review and normally I just let it go and take the loss, but this had to have been one of the worst places we had gone. We spent around $50 for dollar store microwave food on the week of our anniversary. I emailed Kamisama ramen about this. Whoever I spoke to apologized and offered a free appetizer. Not really worth the 1 hr drive, so I printed the email and the next day I was in town, I tried using it, and the worker said she couldn't honor it. This was a different worker than the last time, the previous worker had pointed out how sticky the tables were and didn't talk or help out much. Probably having a bad day so I don't blame her. Overall it was a crappy visit. Poor service, dirty tables, horrible food, high prices for the crappy quality. I do not recommend going here.

This place was baaad. As another reviewer mentioned, we were in at lunch and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. Should have left then. First of all, I asked for hot sauce and the server brought an empty bottle of Sriracha sauce. I thought it was a joke. I asked her for another and she said she didn't think they had anymore. I laughed at this point. She checked and brought another bottle out, almost empty and said it was all she could find. They forgot to put the boiled egg in my daughter's ramen and when I asked about it, she brought me a cold, chewed up looking egg, only sliced it half and they didn't give me a knife to finish cutting it. Please listen to the other negative reviews, unfortunately they are true.

When I walked into the place, it was completely empty, which I thought was weird but I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately the chicken Katsu was really dry and the noodles looked like they were top ramen. The broth was decent but overall I wouldn't recommend eating here our server, though was extremely nice.

It's empty for a reason. The sushi is mainly rice, doesn't hold together and they do not plate with ginger or soy sauce. The chicken on the chicken katsu was dry. And there are bugs. The good thing is they let us put tables together. Overall the condition of the place is unsatisfactory. Do not recommend.

My little brother and I ordered the tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen bowl with pork kutsu and boiled eggs as extras, the food was very good though I think we got shoyu (soy based) broth judging from the taste and color (it was the dark brown broth, tonkotsu one was a lighter color going off the website) but it was still pretty tasty. I'll make sure to ask for the kutsu on a separate plate if possible, breading ended up falling off the meat due to the broth. The waitress there was really nice.

my boyfriend and i went to this lovely ramen place as part of our 6th month anniversary!!! we ordered the chicken gyoza and we agreed it was splendid, perfectly cooked, very well-seasoned, and not too salty :). I ordered the shoyu (soy sauce) ramen . the broth was incredibly flavorful and their noodles are so good and filling. my boyfriend ordered the tonkatsu (pork) ramen. he said the meat was very tender and it was savory. we both 1000% recommend this place for some yummy ramen and gyozas. the ambiance is calm and the restaurant has a cute Japanese decor and a chalk drawing of One Piece!!! (and a lot other anime characters :D). love it here.

We decided to go eat today 8/20/23 here because the first time we had it it was great and with this rainy weather ramen sounded really good. I think there was only two people in the restaurant, the server and the cook. The server handed us menus and right away asked what we wanted to eat not even giving us a chance to open the menu. When we decided to order we were going to get the pork ramen and the chicken teriyaki bowl. She said they were out of them so we told her we needed a minute to decide again. She came back about 1 min later and we ended up just getting whatever. We ended getting a yakisoba noodles and a bento box. We also got gyozas and they were bland and barely warm. The chicken on both was very dried out. We had also asked for bean sprouts and side of rice which we never got. We only got water and she never came back to refill us or check on us she was sitting down on her phone. We kept waiting until we just got tired and ended up getting up and going to the front desk to see if she was there and just paid at the desk. I was still going to get charged for for the side or rice and been sprouts that I never got and when I had let her know that we never got it she looked annoyed that I said it. Anyways worst experience I’ve had here. First time was a different server and she was amazing and the food was amazing. Not this time.

Walking in and seeing absolutely no one should've been my sign to walk out. I got chicken gyoza and it wasn't even cooked. The dough was completely raw and chewy & the inside had no flavor. I ordered kontatsu ramen with shrimp tempura and an egg. The egg was hard boiled which is gross I was told "we don't do soft boiled" like what?? The broth I received was NOT kontatsu broth it was more than likely shoyu which is soy sauce based and not what I ordered. I eat ramen multiple times a month and I have NEVER not finished my bowl. I walked out of kamisama after eating one gyoza and 5 bites of the ramen. I'll never waste my money here again. Also the server was rude so honestly I get why no one was in there.Even after posting this review and then seeing it they still did not offer to fix the issue!!

I have been craving ramen, so I decided to finally try this restaurant. I wasn't disappointed. From someone who loves ramen, even when it's hot outside.. I really enjoyed this place. I was skeptical because of the most recent review (14 days prior) to this one about the food being salty... but I still decided to try it out and I'm glad I did. The place deserves some attention from more people because it's definitely worth visiting. I'd post a photo of my food but, I devoured it before it crossed my mind. I'll definitely be back!Oh, and the waitress was really friendly/helpful.I also forgot to mention, based off past reviews people complained it was too quiet in there, without music. There was music playing while I ate, so they definitely listened to reviewers :)

This use to be my all time favorite ramen spot. Sadly now I’ve been here 3 different times and the same thing I have always ordered is always made wrong and strangely enough it’s always different from the time before. I’m sadly giving up on kamisama.
