Pretty good for a mostly quick chicken/steak and fried rice place. Steak was better than the chicken because it didnt require sauce. Chicken was good but a bit dry and sauce would have helped. Sauces provided was a HARD pass for me (1 Mustard and 1 Ginger) and definitely keeps this from being 5 stars. I come from the land of Fresno, CA with these amazing hot and spicy sauces that I cannot seem to find any other restaurant has tried to emulate at all. Heck I would take just a solid terakyi sauce. But it was still good enough for me to clean my plate, therefore it has to be 4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Primarily a take out restaurant with a small bland dining area, with cheesy music playing. I was very pleased and satisfied with the quality and flavor of the food the only two mistakes being the rice in the New York Steak plate was on the salty side, and one of the sushi plates the rice was slightly sloppy in its form although the quality and flavor I was suprised how well everything came together, I would highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Always consistent with excellent food. Love the salmon sashimi as well as hibachi chicken or steak meals. Nothing special about the look of this place , The food and the friendly staff speaks for itself. Their fried rice is the best meal in Bakersfield when you don't want a meal.. (IMO)Great place to go if you are too busy to sit down and have them make Teppan in front of your face. We ordered the firecracker roll the chicken and steak plate and the shrimp plate. They are usually my favorite go to place when I want fried rice . This is the one time that they weren't what I was expecting. The firecracker roll wasn't a bad choice, but it was the first time I had it, and I was expecting something more savory. It seemed as if the oil it was fried in old. Not complaining about the flavor just that it wasn't what I was expecting in flavor. The chicken and steak plate was ordered by my wife and she said it was good but the steak was a little tougher than she normally gets the shrimp plate have every piece of shrimp on the plate overcooked I ate maybe three shrimp and a couple spoons of rice put it down and try to eat it later. I microwaved that the next day it virtually not edible. Usually I eat my whole plate and don't have a problem. The only difference in the service this time and last time was I ordered it an hour before they closed. Not sure if that made a difference but I will never eat it that late again. Overall I love this place and it stopped me from traveling next door(if you know where they're located you know what I mean)! Kyoto today wasn't your day.Ill try it again in January, and I'm looking forward to it..

Delicious hibachi and rolls! Tried the new york strip first time. Then got chicken few days ago. And the las vegas tempura roll. Very simple menu. Will be back since i live close. ?
This is a fast food joint, and they specialize in Japanese Teppanyaki. I think of it is the In-N-Out of Japanese food. The small menu has perhaps a dozen entrées of various types and about another dozen sides. I had the beef and shrimp combo, and my wife had the all shrimp combo, and both were delicious. The fried rice is especially well done, with large chunks of onion, just the way mama used to make. You get large cups of sauce, of which there are apparently four varieties, all very good. One mustard sauce is particularly good with the shrimp. It's almost like wasabi. We found in our order, as there does not appear to be an online ordering system, and when we got there, the food was ready to go packaged with all the accessories. I always check on this, because we were taking it to a nearby, picnic area, and often restaurants leave out important things like forks. But everything was in there, and the food was delicious. We ate at the nearby, Riverside Park, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick, delicious picnic outing. The staff was attentive and efficient. They recognized my order immediately, even though there was a line of apparently delivery service orders. When I walked in, they asked me my name, and gave me my order in front of all the delivery service orders. I really appreciate that, because delivery services tend to monopolize some restaurants. I forgot to take photos, but the photos on the Yelp site themselves are perfectly representative. Unlike a lot of fast food places, this food is depicted just the way they serve it: unpretentiously, in elegant black plastic containers With clear lids.

I love the food here at this restaurant and it is a great little place I'm always telling others about it. I do wish the man who owned it or is running it was a bit more chipper or interactive. I think a smile on his face would be more welcoming and make customers feel more like coming back. The service is great they make sure you have all the accessories you need if you are going and if you're dining in then they have all you need there.
