As of Saturday April 5th 2025 the Menudo was awful. Usually it is very good. It has been my go to for menudo but that date it was horrible. Cut into small pieces and the flavor just was not good. Whoever made it that day needs to do better sorry just being honest. If there gonna charge almost $17 a bowl needs to be delicious

Went to try they menudo this morning and omg since it got to the table smelled so bad it was very sticky will never go back kids is food was burn I felt like they don't pay enough to the cooks to wash the menudo good and to cook the kids food as well very bad experience

It's an ok restaurant for Mexican/Hispanic cuisine. A couple of years ago, they jumped on the band wagon of; let's charge more and reduce the food quality purchases.

Just recently visited La Cabaña Restaurant with my family and friends. We, all, had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday. The restaurant has a cozy and lovely atmosphere and offers an atmosphere where people can enjoy conversations and laughs. The background music adds to the good vibes of this restaurant.
Not many Mexican Food Restaurants still offer chips and delicious salsa now in days. At La Cabaña Restaurant, we were offered chips and salsa, and they kept the refills coming. We all enjoyed our food - how I know? We did not need to-go boxes and wiped our plates clean. Our food arrived at the ideal temperature and warm, the meats and veggies tasted fresh - from the molcajete that my mom ordered to the wet burrito (birria) my daughter ordered. For my coffee drinkers, I highly recommend the Café de Olla.
The restaurant is kept clean despite how busy it remains, our wait was 15 minutes with a party size of 12 people. Hands down to the great work, customer service, tasty food, and delightful atmosphere La Cabaña Restaurant offers in Bakersfield, California.
Kid-friendliness: My kids enjoy coming for breakfast and dinner. The staff is welcoming to kids and cater to their food likes. If you don't see it in the menu, ask because they will do their best to accommodate kids' tastes.
