We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful historical landmarks in Bakersfield to dine.
I recently had the opportunity to visit some old friends at the historical Luigi’s.
After getting a table, we were immediately waited on and served those wonderful Arnold Palmers which Luigi’s is known for.
Just getting the chance to take in and look at all the historical athletic pictures is like stepping back in time . The environment is always bustling with positive energy and vibes.
To top it off, the food is fabulous …. The half and half, the red pasta , the white pasta, the Monica salads, the steaks and of course the butter finger pie!! Yummy!
In addition, Gino, the third generation family operator does a wonderful job of running and operating this wonderful kern county gem and treasure.
Thank you Gino and the wonderful staff of Luigi’s for providing a wonderful, authentic Italian dining experience .👍🇺🇸😀

This was our first time at Luigi's, and we really had a nice experience. The food was delicious and service was perfect. The interior of the restaurant is really cool with lots of pictures all over the walls. We went there for lunch. My grandson had the monte burger with homemade lemonade that was delicious. I had the small Giovanni gourmet salad, so yummy. Next time we go, we plan to try some pasta dishes.

The food is OK. Service is good. They claim they don't take reservations, however if you show up when they open at 11am, there are no tables available. How does that happen when they don't take reservations. Don't worry, I won't be back.

This place has been open forever and there’s a reason for it. The food is great but the atmosphere is even better when sitting down with family or friends. I give this 4 booms out of 5 on the booom meter. Which = 5 stars on google reviews.
