Luigi‘s is a Bakersfield Home hometown favorite. The good news is it’s food and atmosphere. The bad news is it’s really really popular. On occasion, that means a wait for lunch.
Like most other restaurants, in the past few years prices have gone up, but I think that’s mostly inflation.
I highly recommend this place for an informal casual lunch experience.

Have loved this spot for years! Try the Prime Rib sandwich on Tuesdays, trust me. Everything else is good too of course but the Prime Rib is so so good.

I'll start with the obvious...the food. It was amazing. The best part of it all was the actual experience you get. From family recipes to everyone knowing everyone there. The man himself Geno just walking around making sure everyone was happy and taken care. The staff are very friendly and seem to be genuinely happy. You don't just go to Luigi's to eat...you go to Luigi's for the experience.
