Woolgrowers is an icon of Bakersfield. Basque food is one of the things to do in Bakersfield that is unequal Ed anywhere else. This is a local mix of French Basque foods with a Bakersfield unique vibe. It is one of the things that I do miss about Bakersfield.
Hey, it is Woolgrower's . We have been coming here once a month for over 20 years. We had a corner for a gift exchange and lots of attention from the wait staff. Great food. Guess there are good reasons to keep coming back.

We've been coming here as a family for generations! The food is amazing every time, and the servers treat everyone like family. The neighborhood has gone downhill unfortunately, but they do have a parking lot attendant to watch the cars.
