I was just passing by Bakersfield and stopped randomly for lunch, this was the biggest surprise ever, soup, salad, main entree, everything was delicious and reminded me of Romanian food
I have been comming to Wool Growers since I was just a kid. I am 65 now. Moved away about 20 years ago. Tonight is the first time I have eaten here in at least 15 years. Foods was excellent just the way I remember it. Service was great. Some of the faces have changed but the food and service are the same. Thank You so much for a great meal.
Wow. This place is incredible. Stumbled across it driving back to LA from Kernville. It’s like being fed by a loving grandma who wants to fatten you up. I could not belive how much food they dish out with the entree. The soup is fragrant, the tomatoes delicious and acidic, the salad crisp and fresh, the corn sweet and crunchy.
