I'll start with the obvious...the food. It was amazing. The best part of it all was the actual experience you get. From family recipes to everyone knowing everyone there. The man himself Geno just walking around making sure everyone was happy and taken care. The staff are very friendly and seem to be genuinely happy. You don't just go to Luigi's to eat...you go to Luigi's for the experience.
Lived in Bakersfield for 20 years and I'd just found out about this place.
The good...
-Ingredients used in the dishes here are legit, perfectly prepared and the flavors of the entree's are spot on.
-Service is great and friendly. The market is full of specialty meats, cheeses and seasonings that are necessary for great Italian food.
-Not cheap, but you're definitely getting what you pay for.

Like most other restaurants, in the past few years prices have gone up, but I think that’s mostly inflation.
I highly recommend this place for an informal casual lunch experience.
