The Malt Shop on the corner of Auburn and Fairfax was my go-to spot growing up. Their pastrami sandwiches were simply delicious! I make it a point to stop by every now and then, and each time I'm reminded of how great the service is too.Parking: Lots of room to parkKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible spots up front

Great place to get a burger, chicken basket, pastrami sandwich, fries or a milkshake! ? the dining room isn't the cleanest (crumbs on tables and benches) but other than that it's great!

Good cheeseburgers and banana splits. The workers are always very friendly, specially the cook. She’s such a sweetheart.

I like our neighborhood malt shop, family owned and family run. Their food is very good and portions are generous (especially their French fries). Their Texas double cheese burger is excellent and their pastrami sandwich is not bad. Try them out, support your local MALT SHOP!

A east side staple been going here for years can't believe I hadn't done a review. Service is great they are a mom and pops so be patient cause this place gets packed sometimes.I order the jalapeno burger with avocado and extra spread. Get you some onion rings and their ranch and you're good to go! Their milkshakes are bomb btw too check them out

You never have to wonder how it's going to be: it's 100% consistent. Getting a "monster burger" or two patties will give you a satisfying beefy experience. The "fifties" theme is a nice
