First time at this place. Curious to try a restaurant that is part of the 'Blue Zone Project'. Tried the Oaxacan mole, grilled cauliflower, and Mango Haus fish taco. It's really tasty, and the portion is just enough. The cafe de olla and mojito are also really good. The best part is I didn't feel stuffed or bloated after lunch!Plus point for nice decor.

Food is okay! Place is super cute, but service could improve a lot. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday, and had to turn away 3 people because there was no space at the table and staff refused to give us an extra table. First they said they were full of reservations and had a waiting list, then they changed their reasoning and said kitchen was very busy to welcome more people. I understand they need to respect reservations, but two low tables and two high tables were empty the whole time we were there. Sad to see they are not very flexible to accommodate to customers that already showed up.

I ABSOLUTLY LOVE the concept of the place. The emphasis on putting "GOOD" food into your body is refreshing. My host and server were very personable and extremely nice. I felt the pricing however was disproportionate to the amount of food and drink. But EVERYHING was wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem by accident

Greatly exceeded expectations. We ordered salmon and chicken mole. Both were perfectly prepared. Chicken was huge, but perfectly cooked through and moist. Mole had just perfect slow-building heat. Salmon was grilled to perfection.

A nice place for a great flavor mix. Small and quiet. Great personalized service that feels like you are part of the family.

we had a brief overnight in Bakersfield on our way from Northern California to Southern California and we found this place after googling vegan breakfast. It was absolutely incredible. My husband, our three kids, and I have been all over the world and all over the US as well and I would say this was genuinely in the top tier of restaurants we have been to. We were also impressed by the blue zone certification, which we did not know existed, despite being aware of blue zones. I highly recommend it!

It's a beautiful place with a lot of natural light. The prices are high, the portions are small. The service was friendly but extremely slow, it seemed like there was only one server working. My food was only slightly warm, my nephew's was cold. I asked for the salsa on the side but it came on the food. The drinks were mostly good, and the quality of the food has potential but it all was just kinda slightly off. The cafe de olla was a total disappointment, they just charge way more to put a cinnamon stick in a regular cup of coffee.

Mango Haus is a great breakfast spot with a wide array if beverages and a great atmosphere. The breakfast burrito was very filling and the homemade chips were a great touch. The best part of the burrito was the salsa. Service was a bit slow but I would come back here the next time I am visiting Bakersfield.

We stopped in Bakersfield on the way to Joshua Tree Natl Park. The Mango House was a wonderful breakfast surprise. Delicious and artistically presented oatmeal, served by a lovely senorita Ruth. Lively music too.Wish we had a Mango Haus in San Mateo and Tahoe City!!!
