Food good. Service not that good. Charging for every thing I ordered individually. I have multiple recipts. Get a clue. No regular plates, no regular flatware. Got plastic. Probably won't return.

Manuel's was serving breakfast for guests at the Best Western Hill House when I stayed there. There were multiple choices for breakfast -- all tempting -- but I chose the burrito with chorizo, rice, beans etc. My order was taken quickly, the burrito was prepared in just a short time and was delivered by a wonderful server. Without a doubt, this was the best breakfast -- and one of the best meals -- of my trip. Expertly-prepared food; delicious from the first bite to the last and a professional, personable staff. I hope I will have another chance to eat at Manuel's in the future!

I really hate to do a negative review. The food was meh. The waitress was an older woman. As many reviews before, she was very rude and not helpful at all. With this being a family owned business it'd be in their best interest not to have her wait on customers. She didn't want to take our drink orders hurried us to figure out what we wanted to order and when we were eating she said if we wanted to eat dessert tell her now.

Best shrimp in town , better than what I've found on the coast give them a try. The salsa is also very good, has a bite to it some nights but tasty.

We're from Los Angeles and now Arizona and I gotta tell you, this was the best Mexican food we'd had in ages. I think the tamale may be the best I've ever had - with little chunks of pork on top. The salsa was really good. I enjoyed my chicken taco and pork tamale (only choice was pork) and my companion loved their chicken enchiladas. Delicious.Adjacent/ attached to Best Western Plus Hill House. Easy parking on the secured hotel parking lot.

Tamales are so good. Order them with the enchilada sauce poured over them. You won't regret it.

My husband and I came into town and stood at the best western. This restaurant was located on the hotel grounds. We ordered breakfast which wasn't bad but nothing special and two shrimp cocktails. The cocktail juice was too salty to eat anyways besides the shrimp being old and mushy. The gentleman who took our order either was having a bad day or is just a miserable person. His tone was so negative as if he hated life itself. My husband asked for lemons and he handed him a whole lemon. When asked how did he expect us to cut it because we didn't have any utensils since staying at the hotel he responds with "well how am I supposed to know you're staying here smart a**** I couldn't imagine residents on a Sunday at 9am driving to a hotel to order breakfast since they're not open and the only entrance in is through the hotel. Basically the experience wasn't worth the $64 for two plates and two cocktails.

Grew up eating authentic Mexican food, working here from out of town I tried surrounded Mexican food places this one is really good, staff is personable and friendly. Better food than Mexicali for sure.

Love this place and the classic atmosphere! I stay at the Best Western for business on occasion, but this was my first time visiting the restaurant. My food was ready fast and tasted fresh. Pricing was also really good. I’m happy they offer non-seafood options as well. I want to try their margaritas on my next visit. Highly recommended!
