A lovely hidden gem. Simple but nice. Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. Good selection of wines! They allow you to bring in your food to enjoy with your wine!

I visited On the Vine with some friends recently. The owner was very nice and we enjoyed a bottle of wine and charcuterie board. The atmosphere is very casual and a great place to chat. There is a bar area with TVs if you'd like to watch a game. I will definitely be back for another girls or date night.

Bar tender was very rude. We walked in and she was talking to what was probably a regular..and we were treated like we were interrupting her conversation and we were being a bother... we did t bother ordering anything and walked out...

We love this place! It's great to stop in and just tell Karen what we're in the mood for, and she'll make s suggestion, and it's always great. I love it too how you can either engage in conversation with strangers who become friends, or sit off to the side and quietly catch up on your texts, emails, and Facebook stuff.

Karen Bennett is the owner. She is a highly educated resident wine expert and a fun down to earth Gal! Karen is a Sommelier, she worked at The Cellar for years and was the Wine Buyer for Cafe Med. The Theme for this Ladies wine tasting event was Red, White & Blue. It was a summer picnic type of atmosphere. Upon checking in we received A glass of Sparkling Blanc de Rose' by Blanc de Bleu. The bubbles were so refreshing on a warm Bakersfield evening. We were served Two still French Rose's, Vin de Provence AIX from Provence and Cape Bleue Rose' by Jean Luv Colombo of France. Next was a Spanish white wine Abarino by Lagan D Cervera. Then going back to South of France to slip into something red with Syrah Grenache by Cote' Mas. We finished with a Red Blend of Monastrel, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah by Juan Gil. The wines were delicious! What a fun evening was had by all! On the Vine has a very casual and welcoming ambiance. They serve wine, beer and snacks. They also have Taco Tuesday's. Most importantly No snobs allowed! I love this place!

This place is a little hidden gem. I've been here a few times. All the employees very polite and knowledgeable. Sometimes the owners are floating around and take the time to greet customers and accommodate their needs. It's a very pleasant low key environment. I highly recommend trying it. Tons of wine options and beers. They also have cigars for the front patio.

Celebrated Women's Day at this quaint wine spot with a group of beautiful ladies. I had a little trouble locating the business as it's nestled in between a few other small businesses in an older strip mall. Don't let the outside aesthetic turn you off. This place is a gem! They have a variety of wines, both red and white. We tried Quaint and Sea Sun, both reds and both delicious. They have a small menu of "bites." We ordered the large charcuterie board, and the hummus and pesto plate. The food was tasty and fresh and made to order. We also ordered a pizza from Steve's pizza next door and they delivered it to us. The decor and vibe were trendy and fun to take pictures in. Check this place out for chill music, great wine and a low key place to hang out with your girls. Oh, they have a ladies night once a month.

I used to love this place. I stopped coming because it was closed due to the pandemic. I returned to find out it's under new ownership. No more super good toasted bread, comfy couches and a large open bottle selection. Now there are a large amount of uncomfortable high top tables, no garlic bread and a small selection of wine. I want to also mention that they don't stay open late on Saturday nite when everyone wants to relax. Nope they close at 5pm.
