Poppi's Pastrami & More

The owner takes pride in her food and it shows! Now the price is higher but you definitely get your money's worth. Not to mention supporting a local family run business. I was not a beliver until I tried it and then I had to talk with the owner because she is the cherry on top, very passionate about not only her food but the community as a whole. I'd rather spend a little more for great food and supporting such good people in the kern county community. Oh she is a traveler so hit them up and find where to go!

OMG!!! I ordered from your food truck during Whisky Flat Days, in Kernville. I had the pastrami dog and let me tell you what, it was amazing!!! I’ve never been a fan of sweet tea, but tried yours and it was the best I’ve ever tasted! Everything, including the service was top-notch!! I’ll be looking for you at all public events that I attend!!! 😋 5 ⭐️

I finally taste the pastrami sandwich it was very small sandwich and very salty and it was not worth $18 I can get a better bigger pastrami sandwich at Andres combo fries and drink for $14 and believe me customers it's worth it this is not the best pastrami sandwich in Bakersfield I will never go back to poppis

Bomb… that’s all I can say. Went to Famoso today and decided to grab a bite at Poppi’s. I’m not a big pastrami person, but the $20 sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. I could have eaten 2 more and stuffed myself to an uncomfortable state just because it was THAT GOOD! Don’t pass these guys up if you see them. 🤤

Food was fairly overpriced for what you get. Additionally there is a $3 service charge for credit card that was not disclosed during the transaction. For one person this was too expensive and not worth the money.

This was a perfect pastrami sandwich. It was tender, moist and flavorful with chopped sautéed onions, pickles and mustard on a fresh hoagie!

Was told by a coworker that you guys had the best pastrami in town me not being a believer had to try it myself and I have to say that was the best pastrami I've had in Bakersfield 6 stars and three thumbs up delicious will definitely go again

I'm not even mad I spent 12 bucks on what would be considered a basic cheeseburger. It was INCREDIBLY delicious. I wanted another one so bad but one filled me up. The flavors and textures were just so good I wanted to keep tasting it. The service was super friendly, fun, and sassy too. Can't wait to try one of the pastrami items, I have a feeling it's going to blow my mind. :)
