Best Indian Food in Town. Very authentic

I had a very bad experience at this Indian restaurant in Bakersfield. We ordered a mixed aloo paratha, but it tasted terrible. When we entered, the owner was loudly shouting at the staff, which already gave a bad impression. Still, he convinced my husband and me to try their food, saying they serve the best Punjabi dishes and that their parathas are very popular. Unfortunately, the taste was awful — they added way too much coriander, and both of us ended up with upset stomachs afterward. The prices are also quite high compared to other dhabas. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The Punjabi cuisine is simply perfect! Everything was just as it should be, from the naan to the butter chicken my husband ordered! The server understood that I have food preferences and was able to guide me towards vegan dishes. I really enjoyed the food and the colorful atmosphere! Everyone was so polite and friendly! Punjabi Dhaba is my new favorite restaurant!

My family went here for dinner. The owners were warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be going back. We tried every chicken dish and liked all of them.

We reached at a time when they had closed and the last was very nice to still take our order.
We order kadhi pakoda- chawal and it was amazing… very authentic flavours and fresh..

Perfect place for authentic and tasty Punjabi homemade/dhaba-style food. Every time we are in this area we make sure to pick up food from here without fail. Their parathas and chicken curry are the best! You cannot really go wrong with any dishes on their menu. They are a little spicy though which is exactly what we love!

We recently hosted our Diwali party at Punjabi Dhaba in Bakersfield, and it was an unforgettable evening! The food was outstanding — full of authentic Punjabi flavor and freshly prepared with so much love.

A heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Rabariji, Manshiji, and Manager Muskan for their warmth, care, and hospitality. They treated us like family and made every detail of our celebration special.

The service was excellent, the staff was very attentive, and the festive atmosphere made everyone feel right at home. We truly appreciate their efforts in making our Diwali so memorable.

They gave great service and answered all our questions. On top of that their food was delicious we had the chicken tiki misala. Really well made ! We were just passing by and not from the area but would go again to this place ! ❤️
