The very best. I buy suitcases full when I travel to Bakersfield. I freeze the loaves when I get home and thawed, they're just as good as fresh. Love the sweet French the most.
My abuelo used to work here day in and day out- he was a legend in our family for bringing home all the bread literally and figuratively. He was a kind man- who taught me to work hard. This bread means so much to me and my family. I grew up on this bread. The Sotos love our Pyrenees. Thank you so much for all the good memories and bread. You still hold his memory with this bread. ?
Pyrenees French Bakery has been making the best sourdough bread for over seventy-five years. Nothing compares. They bake it all right here in the back. The wonderful smell of baked bread will hit you when you walk in.They also sell other types of bread and rolls here.Go to any Basque restaurant in Bakersfield and you will find they only serve Pyrenees French sourdough bread.They don’t do credit cards here, be sure to bring your dough.
