I have been to Root Beer King on Niles St many times in the last few years. We frequently visit at least 1-4 times per month for food and or drinks since they offer crushed ice. We have been happy with the experience up until a few months ago when things started to change. I don't know if they have a new cook, they do have new cashiers, but lately the burgers are so greasy that they drip. I expect a little grease (it's a drive-in after all), but the amount of grease here is not appealing! They changed the cups used for drinks (I think it's something to do with styrofoam in CA), and the new cups are flimsy spilling drinks since the lids will not stay on the cups. The fries, a past favorite, are undercooked. I'm disappointed!😞 We loved this establishment and hope they will make some improvements.
