First, there is no indoor table area to eat, only outside. Service very friendly. Burger looked OK before I opened but there was no spread whatsoever! I had to add my baby rays secret sauce that I happen to have at home.. The burger patty was so thin and overcooked that honestly, looked disgusting, bacon wasn't thoroughly cooked, which grossed me out further, so I took it off the patty. Basically I wasted $12 and change on a lousy burger (receipt in burger pic). The only thing that was prepped right were the fries ?! First and last visit here. I'll stick to In-N-Out burger!

We heard a lot of good things about Root Beer King so we thought we'd try it as we were passing through Bakersfield. We were amazed how affordable this place is. The burgers are super fresh and a good size you would think they'd cost a lot more. They do something with spices on the bun which makes it taste unlike any other burger I've had. The employees were super friendly and fast service as well. Stop by here and try it you won't be disappointed.

This is my favorite burger joint. Great food and even better prices. They put a lot of seasoning salt on everything which I love and their fries are perfectly crispy.
