HOLY SCAM
Wait until the cream cheese puffs go on sale. Over priced! And on holidays they are like 8 dollars. And make sure you go in person. Maybe before the order is placed you should let your customers know that they are going on sale to avoid preorders

My husband and I went in this morning. Stood in what seemed to be a line at the register. When the cashier was done helping the person in front of us she walked away and didn’t say anything. Continued to wait at the register to order and multiple employees took other orders to the counter and ignored us. We waited almost 10 minutes to be helped. A man walked in and ordered over the pastry shelves and was helped immediately. I have only been here once before and there is no clear indication of where to order and out of the 4 different employees that kept looking our way not one could ask if we had been helped. So we left. We drove all the way from SW for the cream cheese puffs. Extremely disappointed at the horrible lack of customer service.

Stopped in for the first time to try their apple fritter and got the thai iced tea as well. Service was quick, the bakery was clean and inviting, and their menus and selections of baked goods was easy to see. They have a couple tables outside where I sat and enjoyed my time. I'll be back to try a breakfast burrito or bagel soon.

Used to make the best almond croissants but the last few times the croissants are bread. There’s no layers like a true croissant. They used to make them so good!

I am appalled by this place. We had ordered some cupcakes for Valentine’s and both of my children ate from it. They later ended up throwing up severely after having these from the bakery. It seems that they do not uphold sanitary conditions in this bakery. I will never return or order from here again!!!

Loosing 2 stars cause I've been here 3 times. First one was great. Delicious, actual apple filling in a bear claw and an apple fritter. Next two times they r out of both. Only like 1 pm. Not late enough to be out. So they lost two stars. Make more to last thru out day.

Have often visited when I'm in their side of town, but I've noticed that the cream cheese puffs, while still delicious, have gotten significantly smaller. At $16 for a dozen I feel like I overpaid.

Our family has a very special event approaching and need to order a cake. After taste tasting a few other bakeries in the area this spot had the best reviews and decided to give them a try. Curb appeal the bakery is dark and appeared closed. Once inside we received a friendly greeting.

Now to the actual items ordered:

Princess Cupcake: looks can be deceiving. Extremely dry and disappointing. After cutting it in half we were surprised to find it is filled what appears to be custard. Would not recommend

Chocolate Kiss: again dry and taste similar to a plastic wrap store bought Hostess cupcake. This one also has a whip filling. Not recommending this either.

Lemon Bar: as one would expect it's sour and filled with lemon taste. Our party all agreed it was "okay"

Lastly we ordered the cannoli. Sorry but if you are hoping for anything remotely close to an actual cannoli better pass on this.

If this spot is truly the best in bakersfield better just go out of town for delicious baked items to celebrate life.

Food wasn't bad. The biscuits and gravy are okay. Iced espresso was the best thing I had. Very nice service.
