“We were craving authentic Chinese food last night and came across Ching Yen. You can tell the owner, Sue, takes great pride in her food, and it really shows. We started with the Sizzle Rice soup and Hot and Sour soup. Both soups were rich and delicious with fresh ingredients. We ordered the small bowls and each was big enough for two people to share one and have extra. We decided to try the Combination Appetizer platter which came with two of each appetizer and two dipping sauces. The Sizzling Beef Iron plate and Chicken Fried Rice had quality fresh ingredients. You could tell the pride that went into each dish. Sue was a delight and expressed how much she enjoyed her customers. She made it feel like you’re visiting family for a home cooked meal. I’m a soup fanatic too, so I can’t wait to try some of the other soups on the menu. We’ll be back soon!“

“If you ever saw Christmas Story it’s like that restaurant..old school Chinese food minus the duck chop . Nothing special on decor, nostalgic of the 80s but comfy and the lady knows us when we come in. She is sweet and the foods is good old school Chinese. My favorites are the pork chow mein, fried rice —-delicious and cashew chicken. They have been here 40yrs and serving me for 16yrs. I would love to keep them open. Stop by sometime and try it out“
