To start, the Manager, Veronica, was EXCELLENT!
She is a sweetheart.
I had never been to this place, by the way, the name has changed to My Spot, Downtown Grill, Inc., and she helped me with my order and was extremely nice.
I recently began eating Vegan and, while My Spot is not strictly Vegan, they will make Vegan food.
She talked me into the Lentil Tacos. They were perfect.
The flavor profile worked very well together and I was quite happy.
I also had tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were crunchy and flavorful.
The salsa was okay, but the tacos and chips took care of that. They both over shadowed it.
The music playing in the background led to a relaxed atmosphere and general happiness.
I look forward to going to My Spot again.

This is a very non-descript place in an interesting shared-use space. I went there early one morning while visiting Bakersfield for work. What completely blew my socks off was the amazing pastrami breakfast burrito. It was expertly made, piping hot, and delicious. It was literally the BEST breakfast burrito I have ever had.

Came from san luis obispo and wanted to try this place out. Owner was super nice and personable, gave me a free water :) I had a PIPING HOT breakfast burrito. Love that they serve these all day. Very fresh with lots of sausage bacon and ham. Has a coffee shop attached to it ? and SUPER afordable prices. Normally I'd pay 50% more for this size burrito. 10/10
