This is the most relaxing and peaceful coffee/small cafe in Bakersfield. The coffee is better than anyone's, and I mean that, in town. The barista was pleasant and didn't mind explaining to my 19 year old son the difference between a cap and a latte. The coffee could win awards and the ambience was pretty in a peaceful way. I ordered the avocado toast, don't judge, and it blew me away with the simple delight. There is another part attached to the coffee shop that serves food and their pastrami fries sent my son and I into a heaven that only comes with getting something that good from a hidden little shop. I don't do food pics, but this one broke all the rules and it gets a spot on the shelf. Five star reviews are hard to come by and hard to give and this little place deserves it 100%. No one in this village comes close to how good that is. Not the kind of coffee you drink for the morning jump. It's the kind you sit and sip and thank the gods that someone knows what coffee should really taste like. Thank you 502 for a perfect place to spend time with my son without being bothered or rushed. Quiet, clean and comfortable. They even have heaters, inside, that give you the choice to be close or not. I enjoyed this little treasure immensely.

Excellent all the way through. Everything was quick and easy.
The food was so excellent!! I didn't even know this place existed but, now I do and I will be going back!! Only complaint I can say is that Bakersfield, in the summer is gnarly and miserable. So, when I got there it was just as hot inside this place as it was outside. Still won't deter me for a repeat visit. I'll just take my food to go. That being said, the honestly do have the eating area/lounging area really nicely decorated and set up.

The staff demonstrated extremely nice hospitality and the food is to die for. I ordered the cali burrito and let me say, it tastes heavenly. The prices are cheap and the food is immaculately seasoned. I have and will continue to recommend this restaurant, not only for its food and staff, but also for its beautiful atmosphere

I have gotten a few items from My Spot, this has been the best so far. I got the bacon omelette with a bunch of veggies and this came loaded. I definitely could have gone without the bread and the hash brown as they weren’t on par with the omelette at all. Will give a few more items a try soon!

I stopped in after court. It appears to be frequented by a lot of attorneys and law enforcement. The food was EXCELLENT. I suggest the garlic fries with your order. There were very efficient considering how crowded it was - I came during the lunch rush. My only annoyance was the pressure to tip. If I stand up when I order and the food is to go, why would anyone expect a tip?
