“Outstanding authentic Mexican flavor. Tastes sooooooo good! If you like tacos (and who doesn't) you MUST try the menu item called "3-Taco Birria Pulled Beef" with cheese/lettuce/tomato. I was blown away by the rich flavor. It's served with a cup of delicious broth on the side which is great for dipping. I'm always craving this meal. Another recommended choice is the deep-fried Quesadilla with marinated Birria pulled beef. This one has fresh veggies on the inside and is layered with a rich, tasty cheese on the outside. I can't stay away from this place!!!”

“I’ve been an avid customer for more than 17 years. Majority of the time I eat solo because I run errands or have appointments after I eat there however I’ve introduced my family to this wonderful little cafe whenever they are in town. They all are big fans of Granny’s and always want to go there when in town. By the way my fam is from Santa Barbara & Los Angeles! Besides enjoying a nice meal I love talking with my fellow customers that’s one of the pluses of a small town cafe. Sad to see someone had a bad experience thank heaven that’s the exception not the norm. Granny’s is the only place I eat pancakes at usually in place of toast plus I love that they offer fresh fruit 🍉 not canned. Also enjoy their daily soup, split pea being one of my favs, also love their Taco salad. Well I could go on and on with various things I enjoy however some things you’ll have to try for yourself. As far as service it’s always been good for me however I know there has been changes and with that there is a learning time with new personnel. I’m sure everyone has had a good or bad experience now and then when eating out, here’s wishing you a great experience when come to this little towns cafe❤️”

“One of our favorite spots. We have brought several friends and family and boast about the incredible food and service. Only disappointment is the bathrooms. Such a beautiful location with very poor kept bathrooms. Tonight we have a reservation for 2 and got offered high top or the table next to the bathroom when every table but 3 were open. We try to make our date nights special tonight was disappointing with these options. (We reluctantly chose the table next to the bathroom) Our server Priscilla was so sweet she made up for it. But even when we were leaving there were still empty tables. It’s the little things like that, that will make us rethink our choice next time.”

“Just had the dinner for 40 here tonight in their room. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and help. Tony…. You and your daughter have a real hidden gem. Food was excellent. Tri Tip Chicken mashed potatoes and green beans. Jalapeño poppers so good . Thank You and I can’t say enough for your hospitality and our last minute changes.”

“Best price. Good pupusas. Fast service. Call ahead they'll have them ready for you. They have 2 tables on sunny day or afternoon take your family. Not the best neighborhood but centralized location”

“First time trying it out on a recommendation from a few people.
They do have a decent salsa bar (cabbage salsa is the superior salsa 🤤) which was a highlight of one of the recommendations.

The food left a little to be desired, I got the two item combo the tamale was very tasty, the red sauce had a good kick but it didn't linger or take away from the flavor. The sope however was a little lack-luster. I got it with pastor, which was not like any pastor I've ever had so that was disappointing. The masa was tough and flavorless. I love that they use romaine and not just iceberg but it was missing that crunch. Points for the rice and beans, though, they were very flavorful!
My husband got the taco salad, and it was pitiful, huge shell barely half way filled up. He was also bummed at the pastor.
He also said the shell tasted like dish soap😬

Overall- more positives than negatives and I'd definitely come back to try other stuff. I saw other plates that people in our group ordered and I was definitely intrigued!

“I've been coming here for maybe about a year, about 2 or 3 times a month. The food is very good. The orange chicken is ok. That's my only critique. I've had their teriyaki chicken, chow mein, fried rice, sesami chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and a few of their appetizers. All of them are very good. The inside looks clean. You get a big portion for what you pay for. And the staff is very friendly. I like this place a lot.”

“The reviews had me pumped up about the burrito. It was good but a little overly spicy for my taste. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it does a job with filling portions. I do feel the burrito could be a little bigger as I tasted a lot of tortilla. The California burrito was the better of the two burritos I tried but I really can't do that nacho cheese. I would give them another try but order something different. I heard the tacos de tripas are good. Overall this is a average taco truck. I'm coming from Merced and there is a lot of really great trucks there so it's why I rated this only 4 stars.”

“7-17-26 Came here again and had a much better experience. I had The Farmers Omelette with Hash Browns and a biscuit with gravy. Very delicious!
7-23-24 Not the best experience today as compared with many other times I’ve been here. I almost felt like the invisible patron. I sat back and looked up hoping someone would look my direction as my coffee and ice water needed to be refilled. Two of the wait staff were counting their tips. Other than that, the food was great.
I found another great breakfast place on the way in Livingston. Heather gave great service it was very friendly and professional. I ordered the farmers omelette which I highly recommend because it was delicious. I also had a biscuit with gravy. I usually like to order a biscuit with gravy at a restaurant for breakfast because it gives me a really good idea on how to rate a restaurant. And the biscuits and gravy were good. I had black coffee and a large orange juice.”

“This was my first time . And wow it was fantastic one of the best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten. And I've eatin a lot of burritos from a lot of different places and I give Rauls Taco Box a 10 out 10. I will go back . This is my new spot from now on.”
