I love it here. Old school style cafe.
7-17-26 Came here again and had a much better experience. I had The Farmers Omelette with Hash Browns and a biscuit with gravy. Very delicious!
7-23-24 Not the best experience today as compared with many other times I’ve been here. I almost felt like the invisible patron. I sat back and looked up hoping someone would look my direction as my coffee and ice water needed to be refilled. Two of the wait staff were counting their tips. Other than that, the food was great.

Foster Farms Cafe in Livingston is a classic diner with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of American dishes from traditional breakfast items to fried chicken dinners. Some must-try menu items include the spicy chicken soup, chicken sandwich with valley sauce, tuna melt, BLT, club, sweet potato fries, and fried chicken. The food is made with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and the portion sizes are generous.
The spicy chicken soup is a signature dish, with a unique and delicious taste that is a mix between chili and chicken tortilla soup. Customers have noted that the soup is especially good on a cold day. The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff is kind and happy to refill drinks and engage in conversation with customers. The pricing is affordable, with filling portions.
The only downside is that the cafe is not open on weekends, which many customers wish would change, as that is when most families want to enjoy breakfast out. However, if someone is looking for a comfortable and satisfying diner experience during the week, Foster Farms Cafe is a great option. It is recommended for those looking for a breakfast spot, and it is an excellent alternative to Denny's.
