“Outstanding authentic Mexican flavor. Tastes sooooooo good! If you like tacos (and who doesn't) you MUST try the menu item called "3-Taco Birria Pulled Beef" with cheese/lettuce/tomato. I was blown away by the rich flavor. It's served with a cup of delicious broth on the side which is great for dipping. I'm always craving this meal. Another recommended choice is the deep-fried Quesadilla with marinated Birria pulled beef. This one has fresh veggies on the inside and is layered with a rich, tasty cheese on the outside. I can't stay away from this place!!!“

7-23-24 Not the best experience today as compared with many other times I’ve been here. I almost felt like the invisible patron. I sat back and looked up hoping someone would look my direction as my coffee and ice water needed to be refilled. Two of the wait staff were counting their tips. Other than that, the food was great.
I found another great breakfast place on the way in Livingston. Heather gave great service it was very friendly and professional. I ordered the farmers omelette which I highly recommend because it was delicious. I also had a biscuit with gravy. I usually like to order a biscuit with gravy at a restaurant for breakfast because it gives me a really good idea on how to rate a restaurant. And the biscuits and gravy were good. I had black coffee and a large orange juice.“

“It is a good place to eat this type of food, however they lack seasoning in the case of red rice, it has no flavor. I tried shrimp with garlic mojo and it tasted pretty good, they were just a little too salty.

Majority of the time I eat solo because I run errands or have appointments after I eat there however I’ve introduced my family to this wonderful little cafe whenever they are in town. They all are big fans of Granny’s and always want to go there when in town. By the way my fam is from Santa Barbara & Los Angeles! Besides enjoying a nice meal I love talking with my fellow customers that’s one of the pluses of a small town cafe. Sad to see someone had a bad experience thank heaven that’s the exception not the norm. Granny’s is the only place I eat pancakes at usually in place of toast plus I love that they offer fresh fruit 🍉 not canned. Also enjoy their daily soup, split pea being one of my favs, also love their Taco salad. Well I could go on and on with various things I enjoy however some things you’ll have to try for yourself. As far as service it’s always been good for me however I know there has been changes and with that there is a learning time with new personnel. I’m sure everyone has had a good or bad experience now and then when eating out, here’s wishing you a great experience when come to this little towns cafe❤️“

I've had their teriyaki chicken, chow mein, fried rice, sesami chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and a few of their appetizers. All of them are very good. The inside looks clean. You get a big portion for what you pay for. And the staff is very friendly. I like this place a lot.“

“One of our favorite spots. We have brought several friends and family and boast about the incredible food and service. Only disappointment is the bathrooms. Such a beautiful location with very poor kept bathrooms. Tonight we have a reservation for 2 and got offered high top or the table next to the bathroom when every table but 3 were open. We try to make our date nights special tonight was disappointing with these options. (We reluctantly chose the table next to the bathroom) Our server Priscilla was so sweet she made up for it. But even when we were leaving there were still empty tables. It’s the little things like that, that will make us rethink our choice next time.“

“This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. The other reviews claiming that Panda is better clearly indicates that they don’t know what good Chinese food tastes like. Panda is ok in a pinch, but I would definitely rather eat here. It is a small, family run business, so sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but it’s worth it. My husband is Chinese and this is authentic, Cantonese style, Chinese food. Also the complaints about price are way off base, because they have large portions and we always have a lot of leftovers. Some of our favorites are teriyaki chicken, chicken chow fun, tomato beef chow mein with pan fried noodles, steamed fish fillet, coconut shrimp (no batter) chicken chow mein, pot stickers, sizzling rice soup, etc..I am gluten intolerant and they have always been conscientious of that, when I asked, recommending gluten friendly options. We have never had a bad meal here whether we dine in or do takeout.“

“The Golden China Restaurant has a lot of 5 star reviews so we decided to stop there on our way back from Lake Topaz. We had a mixed experience. The easy part is cleanliness which I rated as 5 star under 'Atmosphere'. Golden China is as clean as restaurant can be. Both bathrooms were operating table spotless on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Our expectations for the food may have been too high from the previous reviews. It's standard Chinese-American food. I am a fan of this style of cuisine, but I am not sure how you make it '5 Star'. I had Seafood Chow Fun. (This was not on their menu, but they were happy to make it when I requested it.) It was good (pictured). I would have liked a few more scallops, but I always want more scallops.

Price for 2 with 1 beer was $45.15 after tax. I would eat at the Golden China again, but I would not drive out of my way to do so.“

“Me and my daughter went for a lunch date and we ordered the teriyaki half beef half chicken she got the double chicken My beef was so dry and old it wasn't even brown it was gray but I also ordered the crunchy sushi roll that was delicious delicious as for atmosphere there was people in a table over from us like hocking luggies and spitting up luggies it literally made us lose our appetite and that was the reason why we left. I would go again for the sushi and maybe just the teriyaki chicken but I will never ever ever again order beef.“
