“Outstanding authentic Mexican flavor. Tastes sooooooo good! If you like tacos (and who doesn't) you MUST try the menu item called "3-Taco Birria Pulled Beef" with cheese/lettuce/tomato. I was blown away by the rich flavor. It's served with a cup of delicious broth on the side which is great for dipping. I'm always craving this meal. Another recommended choice is the deep-fried Quesadilla with marinated Birria pulled beef. This one has fresh veggies on the inside and is layered with a rich, tasty cheese on the outside. I can't stay away from this place!!!“

Majority of the time I eat solo because I run errands or have appointments after I eat there however I’ve introduced my family to this wonderful little cafe whenever they are in town. They all are big fans of Granny’s and always want to go there when in town. By the way my fam is from Santa Barbara & Los Angeles! Besides enjoying a nice meal I love talking with my fellow customers that’s one of the pluses of a small town cafe. Sad to see someone had a bad experience thank heaven that’s the exception not the norm. Granny’s is the only place I eat pancakes at usually in place of toast plus I love that they offer fresh fruit 🍉 not canned. Also enjoy their daily soup, split pea being one of my favs, also love their Taco salad. Well I could go on and on with various things I enjoy however some things you’ll have to try for yourself. As far as service it’s always been good for me however I know there has been changes and with that there is a learning time with new personnel. “I've been coming here for maybe about a year, about 2 or 3 times a month. The food is very good. The orange chicken is ok. That's my only critique. I've had their teriyaki chicken, chow mein, fried rice, sesami chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and a few of their appetizers. All of them are very good. The inside looks clean. You get a big portion for what you pay for. And the staff is very friendly. I like this place a lot.“

“One of our favorite spots. We have brought several friends and family and boast about the incredible food and service. Only disappointment is the bathrooms. Such a beautiful location with very poor kept bathrooms. Tonight we have a reservation for 2 and got offered high top or the table next to the bathroom when every table but 3 were open. We try to make our date nights special tonight was disappointing with these options. (We reluctantly chose the table next to the bathroom) Our server Priscilla was so sweet she made up for it. But even when we were leaving there were still empty tables. It’s the little things like that, that will make us rethink our choice next time.“

multiple to go orders while were there, as I believe this is the norm for earlier in the week. We have dined here on fri and sat and there are more dine in patrons. The tables are set up nice with cloth napkins and condiments on each one. We ordered the combo plates which arrived steaming hot and tasty, with plenty of leftovers for the next day. My only concern was the gung pow chicken had more vegetables and peanuts than chicken. The chicken was cut up very small and difficult to find among the veggies. My husbands sweet and sour pork were large enough pieces that he asked for a knife to cut it bite size.This is our favorite Chinese restaurant, however I will order another protein next time.“

“If I can say one thing about Authentic Street Taco (AST), it would be that THEY DELIVERED. Literally and figuratively. We absolutely over ordered and we could not be happier about it. AST was our end of the night caterer (Wedding on 12/21/24, for reference). We chose to have the food dropped off & set it up in buffet style. There were no unhappy guests & bonus, what we took home, we enjoyed the next night! As a matter of fact, we had some leftover quesadillas (don't know how that happened), so we froze them & later threw into an air fryer & OMG it was amazing. Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend. Excellent food, excellent communication, & excellent service. Thank you, Authentic Street Taco!!“

“Absolutely my families favorite taco truck I'm a asada Taco type of girl, switching up for nachos occasionally, my daughter has the veggie burrito or quesadilla, son and late husband both asada burrito supreme guys, and those two are very particular with their burritos and the cooks have always gotten it not just correct but absolutely delicious as well. I have tried everything above and they are all phenomenal. I crave my taco ? truck at least a couple times a week. Almost as important as taste........ If you have a few people to feed and are on a tight budget, this is the place to go. We ordered a cheese-stuffed crust pizza. The associate was very attentive and helpful when we asked questions such as what type of ingredients were available. He said it would be about 15 minutes and guess what it took 15 minutes for the pizza to be ready. Just in time! The pizza smelled great and hot right out of the oven. The ingredients tasted fresh. We have 2 locations in Turlock and this one has the best service by far!

The associate was very curious and helpful when we asked questions such as what kind of toppings were available. He said it would be about 15 minutes and guess what it took 15 minutes to be ready. “This place reminded me of El Grullense in Los Banos. When I lived in LB that was my goto spot. Ive been living here in Atwater and never noticed Maria's , which is amazing since Ive lived here for 7 years. Im definitely glad I found this place. My fav is menudo and Maria's has it just the way I like it, in a 32oz cup. I also got some mini tacos as well. They also have covered outside eating. This will now be my goto spot. Im looking forward to winter, so I can swing by and pick up some menudo for work. This place is definitely worth 5 stars.

“I've had at least half of their menu, and everything is delicious. Especially their carnitas. One of the few places that makes them well. Only had a chunk of fat one time in the past 7 years, and to me, a mouth full of chewy fat is why i dont return to most places. Not to mention, the carnitas are crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside, not dried out. You won't be disappointed!“
