“7-17-26 Came here again and had a much better experience. I had The Farmers Omelette with Hash Browns and a biscuit with gravy. Very delicious!
7-23-24 Not the best experience today as compared with many other times I’ve been here. I almost felt like the invisible patron. I sat back and looked up hoping someone would look my direction as my coffee and ice water needed to be refilled. Two of the wait staff were counting their tips. Other than that, the food was great.
I found another great breakfast place on the way in Livingston. Heather gave great service it was very friendly and professional. I ordered the farmers omelette which I highly recommend because it was delicious. I also had a biscuit with gravy. I usually like to order a biscuit with gravy at a restaurant for breakfast because it gives me a really good idea on how to rate a restaurant. And the biscuits and gravy were good. I had black coffee and a large orange juice.“

“Kathy and I have always enjoyed the Jantz Café starting 20 years ago or so. The friendly faces as you walk in the staff and patrons seem all to be cheerful, everyone enjoying a great meal.Each time we came to California Kathy looked forward to going to the Jantz Café.“

“I’ve been an avid customer for more than 17 years. Majority of the time I eat solo because I run errands or have appointments after I eat there however I’ve introduced my family to this wonderful little cafe whenever they are in town. They all are big fans of Granny’s and always want to go there when in town. By the way my fam is from Santa Barbara & Los Angeles! Besides enjoying a nice meal I love talking with my fellow customers that’s one of the pluses of a small town cafe. Sad to see someone had a bad experience thank heaven that’s the exception not the norm. Granny’s is the only place I eat pancakes at usually in place of toast plus I love that they offer fresh fruit 🍉 not canned. Also enjoy their daily soup, split pea being one of my favs, also love their Taco salad. Well I could go on and on with various things I enjoy however some things you’ll have to try for yourself. As far as service it’s always been good for me however I know there has been changes and with that there is a learning time with new personnel. I’m sure everyone has had a good or bad experience now and then when eating out, here’s wishing you a great experience when come to this little towns cafe❤️“

“Food was great. FYI: This is not a restaurant - it is more like a specialty food store that makes a lot of take-home fresh and freezer items. Everything they make is made fresh in house. Cookies are unbelievable. Only open three days a week to the public for takeout. On the other days they cater and at times hold private cooking classes. Neat little place and people.“

“Just had the dinner for 40 here tonight in their room. I cannot say enough about the excellent service and help. Tony…. You and your daughter have a real hidden gem. Food was excellent. “Jams 209 is our weekly or bi-weekly spot that my family goes too. We love the music, food and our favorite person is Erin because of her great customer service. She goes above and beyond. As regulars we can count on Erin to make sure service is smooth and very hospitable. My husband and I have a weekly lunch date or biweekly and our family enjoys dinner together as often as we can. Thanks Erin for always having a smile, enjoying what you do and for always providing great customer service!! “One of our favorite spots. We have brought several friends and family and boast about the incredible food and service. Only disappointment is the bathrooms. Such a beautiful location with very poor kept bathrooms. Tonight we have a reservation for 2 and got offered high top or the table next to the bathroom when every table but 3 were open. We try to make our date nights special tonight was disappointing with these options. (We reluctantly chose the table next to the bathroom) Our server Priscilla was so sweet she made up for it. But even when we were leaving there were still empty tables. It’s the little things like that, that will make us rethink our choice next time.“

“The hidden gem in the desert. Almost drove by and didn't noticed it, but so glad I did. Burgers are made fresh like everything they serve, not frozen or microwaved. On way to Rancho Cucamonga from Vegas, stopped and ordered a breakfast burrito. It was great, so I stopped by on the way back to Vegas for a late lunch. Burger, fries & shake were the best. Highly recommend to anyone traveling thru. A+“

“It’s a great atmosphere tons of fun on Thursday. They have karaoke Friday they always have a DJ and Saturdays. They have live bands great place to have fun with your friends and just let loose safe atmosphere.“

“Our family ate here a couple weeks ago. Everyone ordered something different and we shared. This will be our go to restaurant for family gatherings. The service was excellent and the food was cooked to perfectly. Sometimes we go to restaurants and there is something on the menu that we won’t order again. Not here!! “This particular Denny's is very quiet it's very subdued I like it that way I don't like a lot of noise in the morning when I'm trying to have a breakfast. It was really very relaxing for a change instead of a hustle and bustle and hearing the clanking of dishes and voices yelling and kids screaming. This is one of the few restaurants that you can actually come in and enjoy your meal in peace.“
