“This is my first time eating here at Gillman's. I ordered a double fat boy w/cheese, (no relish, no onions) with a side of garlic fries and a pineapple shake. The attitude and friendliness of the staff, show you their appreciation for your business. The down to earth, chill atmosphere is a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The food. . .let me tell you about the food music I could taste. From the fresh grilled london broil beef patties to the lightly sweet cool crunch of the lettuce and tomato. Garlic fries had just the right amount of diced garlic and melted cheese to not overpower any other item that it is ordered with. Everything was perfectly cooked to order with an intent to satisfy the most famished of customers. Truly great food with reasonable prices! Go and try for yourself when you're in Oakdale!“

“Yesterday we had Dinner there and I had this breakfast sandwich very similar to a McGriddle and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend that sandwich it even comes with syrup in the side. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Really good service food was meh and atmosphere was not that bad but not the best way better then the last one I went to I rated it one star I had to wait one hour for the last one I went to so this one is an upgrade

“My husband and I tried this place for the first time last Monday. It was great! We had the outside area near the outdoor fire to ourselves. The food and drinks were on fire LITERALLY. The portions were very big so I would say it’s worth the money. Two people could easily share an entree. The drink didn’t taste that good and they did forget to add shrimp to my pasta but besides that it was a very nice night. We would try this place again!“

“5 stars all around. I came out here with my uncle and sister since he was in town, and everything was perfect. The food and drinks were delicious. I got a steak, and as expected. It was amazing. The strawberry lemonade I ended up stealing from my sister was amazing as well!“

“It was my first time at Perko's and I definitely will be back . The food was excellent and the service was great. I appreciated the young lady who served us, she came to check on us at least 6 times after serving the meal. Try Perko's, you won't regret it.“

“Order the nachos. Wow, talk about a HUGE portion. Yeah, even though I ate some until I was feeling full, I still had so much leftover. That when I asked for a to go box, it was so full I could barely get the box closed. U can order it with either chili Verde or chili beans served topped with guacamole & sour cream & pico gallo & a roastedjalapeño & plenty of grated cheese melted all over it. I asked the waitress if I could order it with half of the Chili Verde & half with the chili beans. She said, "Sure, no problem." They were so delicious. I would definitely order them again. U sure are getting so much more than what U pay when U oder the nachos.“

“We order items that are no longer on the menu. Our go to is a swiss mushroom cheeseburger. It is our treat every couple months or so. Shout out to Marissa that almost always is our hostess! She knows how to input that special in the register.
We rarely dine in, but I got roped into the bar once by cowboys walking in when I came over for takeout all dirty and dressed in cowboy attire on the rare day I worked on the ranch. That was a warm feeling to still be accepted now that I am an AI developer in SF ?
The bar was great but other than Guinness there were no porters or stouts that day.“

“I love the food, it never disappoints! The ladies are wonderful and this is one of my favorite places to eat. My top favs: chicken teriyaki sandwich, Tri-tip sandwich and the BBQ chicken wrap. I've never had their burgers but everyone tells me they're delicious! Totally recommend this place! You won't regret it! Thank you ladies for your delicious food!“

“Originally went in for the salad bar, when I asked our server what proteins were available she said eggs only. She acted like my questions bothered her. I was hoping to see if I could buy a piece of chicken to go with my salad. I ended up getting Cobb salad and ate half.“

“Chicken is good and it seems to be fresh all the time which is a huge plus. The staff is very friendly which is weird if we talk about chicken sold at a gas station lol
Keep the prices affordable, add more salsa choices and this will be an all time loved here in Modesto.“

“This place Rocks! Just look at the reviews, even the people that want to complain, cant really complain because their server got their back. Its just a damn happy place. You do literally squeeze in and its always a bit noisy. The sounds of amazing people enjoying life. Just dont do as I did and drink mimosas before breakfast or you will break very fast. My sister tripped over the same stone. What im trying to say is that a couple mimosas got this liquor drinker drunk, soaked, like a donut left too long in a cup of milk to where it disintegrates.“

“We went for lunch this past Sunday. First time being here, I love the inside of the restaurant and the Atmosphere the people were so friendly. We ordered shrimp scampi. We also ordered a French dip sandwich. The house salad with this amazing dressing that is made in house.
And french fries. They were amazing. And of course we ordered three desserts. Whatever I did not finish there. I took it home. Our server or waitress. She was amazing. Very nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable with the menu she explained in detail the desserts. Her name is Jocelyn and I will be back again.
