“We were a party of six last night at Camps and we had an all-around great experience. Our server, Emily, did a great job and was very attentive and helpful. I also found other members of the staff to be very kind and courteous. The food was very good and well prepared. Two people from our party of six had the pancetta wrapped chicken and loved it. I had a ribeye steak, which was excellent and just as I had ordered it.Keep up the good work Camps!!“
“This place is amazing! I have been here 5 times now and every single time I go they never disappoint! Extremely friendly and welcoming staff and you guys have the best food ever! Great prices as well! I’m so happy they have a restaurant now ❤️“
“Came here because it's the only place (that I read online) that was dog friendly in Jamestown. My bf really enjoyed his cheeseburger. The hashbrowns were my favorite thing that I ate unfortunately. I didn't care for the red or green sauce that they use for the divorced eggs and my tortilla at the bottom seemed stale (they should have just fried it and made a tostada instead). As for the special pancakes, I loved that the peaches were fresh and not canned! The pancakes themselves were basic but I still ate them as the cream cheese filling made it better tasting. Super cute place and would come back if I have my furbaby with me“
“We inhaled our sandwich so fast i didn’t get a picture… and that never happens with me ?A casual, lovely, cute lunch joint. We were just driving through the area on our way to Lake Tahoe and happened to pull in, but I saw a whole bunch of regulars and all the sandwiches/snacks i saw people getting looked amazing. We had the big bravo which was a well balanced spicy Italian. Very fresh and the sourdough was delicious. Toasted crisp and still bite-soft inside.Came with a side of potato salad which hubs also loved. It’s hard to impress us with sandwiches given i’m from New York and hubs is from Los Angeles but we liked this place a lot and would def come back.. maybe even an intentional stop - to eat here again. The doggo in the garden (leashed and in the shade) is also soo cute and friendly. Here’s the video i got of her :))“
“Stopped by on the way up to Arnold last weekend. Cozy spot on main strip in Murphys. Staff was friendly and inviting. Sandwiches were solid. Beer was great for being up in the foothills. They also have cold beer/cider to take away.Hits were the Reuben and the grilled cheese. Local cider we got to-go was great. Grab a 4-pack mix and get 20% off! Staff can give you great suggestion based off your likes.“
“Classic old time bar. Great, friendly service. Limited menu . Had to wait 1/2 hr for baby back ribs(were told this up front). They were just ok...not "fall off the bone tender". Cheeseburger was juicy and cooked to perfection. Nice sides, especially the roasted veggies. Great beer and cocktails too.“
“A great bar with walls that can talk. A lot of nearby history as well. Had a fun time.Parking: Find a spot and park is the best option. There is nearby parking but it can fill up fast if there is something going on. Overall it does not seem to be a problem though.“
“While working in the area had dinner here and ‘thank you grandma!’ for recommending this place. ? Jaime and Casey - the staff - are rock stars, and the food ? and beverages ? are top shelf. Far as I’m concerned, it’s the only place in this here town.“
“My son and his wife and I don't have a wife. Took a ride through the back roads and stopped at Frosty because it reminds me of Frosty Freeze. They have a very big hamburger selection, some burgers had five patties in them. The food was very good and the soft serve half and half dipped cone was still how I remember it was delicious. So I recommend it if you find yourself in Angel Camp.“
