Our family ate here a couple weeks ago. Everyone ordered something different and we shared. This will be our go to restaurant for family gatherings. The service was excellent and the food was cooked to perfectly. Sometimes we go to restaurants and there is something on the menu that we won’t order again. Not here!! We are from Modesto and this is now our favorite restaurant in the Central Valley. We’re making a reservation right now for 10 of us next week
Total recovery from a suboptimal pre-Christmas 2023 dining experience... they made up for that misadventure with a great rebound dinner and service. Thank you, First and Main Turlock.
We’ve eaten here many times and have always had a good experience. My go-to is the Chicken Dumplings and Crispy Rock Shrimp Roll. This time we had a party of 6, and our server (Nick) was outstanding. Very friendly, engaging and attentive to our party. We had a great evening!

First & Main offers a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The menu includes chicken and wagyu dumplings, truffle fries, salad, poke bowl, and sushi rolls like the Last Dragon Roll Bruce Lee edition and crispy rock shrimp roll. The fish and chips, presented expertly, received high praise. The service is commendable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff like Konstantine and Cassidy, who makes a great Old Fashioned. The restaurant can accommodate large groups, and the chefs put out amazing food, including steak and sushi bowl. Prices are reasonable, and vegetarian options are available. Cocktails like mango frozen margaritas and Mexican fire squat are punch-you-in-the-face delicious. First & Main is highly recommended for a wonderful dinner experience.
