Half the time spent watching the workers chitchat and when I finally got my order It wasent correct and the burritos were hard I don’t know what was worse the food or the fact that the lady on the speaker sounded like she dident want to be there at all No enthusiasm at all And when we got to the window it was the same concept Only I can finally see why my food was incorrect and in poor quality the entire time 5 workers spent standing and talking with each other this happened this time and two previous other times

Drove 168 miles just to experience the famous Barstow Tacos at the original Del Taco location. I ordered the #6 combo (two hard-shell Barstow Tacos with fries and a drink), upgraded to a large drink and fries, and added two Barstow Soft Tacos since I have braces. I was excited to enjoy these tacos with an amazing view of Barstow from the top.
Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized I had been given four regular soft tacos instead of the Barstow Soft Tacos I specifically ordered. Definitely disappointing after such a long drive. On the bright side, the fries were absolutely delicious—crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned—though I did burn my mouth in my eagerness to dig in.
Overall, the experience was a letdown due to the incorrect order, but the food quality itself was solid. If you make the trip, double-check your order before leaving.

Go anywhere else because the color of your skin will determine the service you get at this location. The people at this establishment do not like the color other than pale white. The cashier and cooks kept starting at us like we where animals at the zoo. They where fascinated that we where there. Best thing to do is keep driving to a different location.

Employees all having conversations about a text message that they got over their drive-thru headsets while ignoring their customers. I ordered the carne asada scrambler breakfast burrito but received a regular steak and egg burrito due to their inattentiveness and did not realize it until I was already at home eating it.

To the lady that was screaming and yelling like a toddler at you guys tonight 11/30 - Next time refund and tell the guest to kindly leave and they are not welcome back. (Right to refuse service).
