Had a pleasant experience at this pit stop. Been driving from Utah and right when we walk in, we were immediately greeted. This convenient store has everything you could need from a wide array of snacks, bathrooms, a Subway, electronics, and even a shower/powder room. I appreciate that the restrooms were neatly maintained. Bonus points, the stalls don't have a wide crack as most bathrooms in the U.S, so you actually feel a sense of privacy. "Welcome Truckers" sign nicely lit BUT both doors locked...Clean bathroom, clean store but NO hot foods...Sorry but truckers come and go ALL hours of the day, night and early mornings and we hungry. Come on Pilot make it right!!

This Pilot Travel Center in Barstow was fine. It checked off all the things I look for when it comes to being an acceptable travel center. Had a Subway sandwich shop which was cool. Gas prices were reasonable. Restrooms were pretty clean. So why only 3 stars? The experience was not worth more. It was just A-Ok.
